Lam Dong Provincial People's Court at two levels continues to prioritize trial quality

Attending and directing the conference were comrades: Tran Hong Ha, Judge of the Supreme People's Court ; Dang Hong Sy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies.

Also attending were comrades: Mai Thi Xuan Trung, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee; Pham Van Duc, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province; leaders of relevant departments, branches, sectors and units.

Reporting at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Van Thanh, Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court, said: In 2025, the two-level Courts of Lam Dong province synchronously implemented key tasks and well organized emulation movements.

Each unit has solutions to strive to implement the contents of Directive No. 06/2024/CT-CA dated December 12, 2024 of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court on requirements for implementing the tasks of the People's Court sector in 2025, and targets according to Resolution No. 96/2019/QH14 of the National Assembly .

The whole industry has handled more than 31,500 cases, an increase of more than 1,000 cases compared to the previous year; resolved 25,957 cases, reaching a rate of 82.2%. Of which, criminal cases achieved a resolution rate of 98.9%, marriage and family cases reached 96.8%, commercial and labor cases continued to remain stable.

The Courts have tried to resolve all types of cases, limit the number of suspended cases, annulled or amended cases due to subjective errors of the Judges, and improve the quality of resolving all types of cases.

Mobile criminal trials, conciliation in civil, marriage and family cases, and dialogue in administrative cases have been well implemented. Litigation in court continues to receive attention, along with the implementation of trial sessions to draw on trial experience and digitize records.

Other aspects of work such as: Professional inspection; execution of criminal sentences; handling of complaints and denunciations; personnel organization, emulation and rewards; prevention of negativity; administrative and judicial reform, and management and use of funds continue to be implemented according to the set plan and direction.

Entering 2026, the Provincial People's Court determined to continue implementing synchronous solutions to improve the quality of settlement and adjudication. Strive to achieve and exceed the targets according to the Resolution of the National Assembly; minimize the number of cases annulled or amended due to subjective errors; strengthen inter-sectoral coordination in settling civil and administrative cases.

The entire sector will extensively implement the Law on Organization of People's Courts (amended), promote digital transformation, apply information technology, artificial intelligence and provide online public services in the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW.

2026 is also the time for the Provincial People's Court to strengthen measures to prevent and combat corruption and negativity in judicial activities; promote inspection and public service discipline; focus on training and fostering the team of judges, clerks and jurors. At the same time, continue to carry out the emulation movement to build a two-level People's Court that is "streamlined, modern, honest, and for justice".

Comrade Tran Hong Ha, Judge of the Supreme People's Court, gave a speech directing the Conference.

On behalf of the Council of Judges of the Supreme People's Court, comrade Tran Hong Ha, Judge of the Supreme People's Court, spoke at the Conference, acknowledged and commended the efforts and outstanding results of the two-level Courts of Lam Dong province in the context of restructuring, merging the apparatus and increasing caseload.

At the same time, it is recommended that the People's Courts at 2 levels of Lam Dong province continue to thoroughly overcome limitations, improve trial quality, ensure progress, reduce overturned and revised sentences, promote mediation and dialogue, increase online court sessions, publicize judgments, and effectively implement digital transformation and digitization of records.

Lam Dong Court needs to uphold the motto "Innovation, solidarity, responsibility, discipline, quality, for justice", promote the core role in judicial reform, build a team of honest and courageous judges, meeting the requirements of the tasks in 2026 and the following years".

Speaking at the Conference, Dang Hong Sy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized: "The People's Courts at two levels of Lam Dong province continue to put trial quality first, maintain discipline, unite to overcome difficulties, promote judicial reform and digital transformation, build a team of honest, courageous, and professionally skilled cadres, strive to excellently fulfill the task of protecting justice, human rights, and citizens' rights and contribute to the sustainable development of the province".

Authorized by the President, the leaders of the Supreme Court and Lam Dong province awarded the 3rd class Labor Medal to 2 former leaders of the 2-level People's Courts of Lam Dong province.

On this occasion, comrades Bich Van Nhien, former Deputy Chief Justice of the People's Court of Binh Thuan province and Nguyen Van Chien, former Deputy Chief Justice of the People's Court of Dak Nong province (old), were honored to receive the 3rd class Labor Medal from the President.
