
Attending and directing the conference were comrades: Tran Hong Ha, Judge of the Supreme People's Court ; Dang Hong Sy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies.
Also attending were: Ms. Mai Thi Xuan Trung, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Legal Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Pham Van Duc, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province; and leaders of relevant departments, agencies, and units.

Reporting at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Van Thanh, Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court, stated that in 2025, the two-level courts of Lam Dong province had implemented key tasks in a coordinated manner and organized emulation movements effectively.
Each unit has solutions to strive to implement the contents of Directive No. 06/2024/CT-CA dated December 12, 2024, of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court on the requirements for implementing the tasks of the People's Court sector in 2025, and the targets according to Resolution No. 96/2019/QH14 of the National Assembly .

The entire sector handled over 31,500 cases, an increase of more than 1,000 cases compared to the previous year; 25,957 cases were resolved, achieving a resolution rate of 82.2%. Of these, criminal cases achieved a resolution rate of 98.9%, marriage and family cases reached 96.8%, while business, commercial, and labor cases continued to maintain stable levels.
The courts have strived to resolve various types of cases, limiting the number of cases temporarily suspended or overturned due to subjective errors by judges, and improving the quality of case resolution.
Mobile court sessions for criminal cases, mediation in civil and family cases, and dialogue in administrative cases have been carried out effectively. Adversarial proceedings at trials continue to receive attention, along with the implementation of trial review sessions and the digitization of case files.

Other areas of work, such as professional inspection; execution of criminal judgments; handling of complaints and denunciations; personnel organization, emulation and reward; prevention of corruption; administrative and judicial reform; and management and use of funds, continued to be implemented according to the set plans and directions.

Entering 2026, the Provincial People's Court is determined to continue implementing comprehensive solutions to improve the quality of case resolution and adjudication. It strives to achieve and surpass the targets set in the National Assembly Resolution; minimize the number of cases overturned or amended due to subjective errors; and strengthen inter-agency coordination in resolving civil and administrative cases.
The entire sector will extensively implement the amended Law on the Organization of People's Courts, promote digital transformation, apply information technology and artificial intelligence, and provide online public services in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW.

2026 is also the year when the Provincial People's Court will strengthen measures to prevent and combat corruption and negative practices in judicial activities; promote inspection and disciplinary work in public service; and focus on training and developing the team of judges, clerks, and lay judges. At the same time, it will continue to implement the emulation movement to build a two-level People's Court system that is "streamlined, modern, honest, and for justice."

Speaking on behalf of the Council of Judges of the Supreme People's Court at the conference, Judge Tran Hong Ha acknowledged and commended the outstanding efforts and achievements of the two-level courts in Lam Dong province amidst the restructuring and consolidation of the apparatus and the increasing volume of cases.
At the same time, it is requested that the collective of the People's Courts of Lam Dong province at both levels continue to thoroughly overcome limitations, improve the quality of trials, ensure progress, reduce the number of overturned or amended judgments, promote mediation and dialogue, strengthen online court sessions, publicize judgments, and effectively implement digital transformation and digitization of case files.
The Lam Dong Provincial Court needs to uphold the motto "Innovation, unity, responsibility, discipline, quality, for justice," promote its core role in judicial reform, and build a team of honest and capable judges to meet the requirements of the tasks in 2026 and the following years.

In his address at the conference, Dang Hong Sy, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies, emphasized: “The People's Courts at both levels in Lam Dong province will continue to prioritize the quality of trials, maintain discipline, unite to overcome difficulties, promote judicial reform and digital transformation, build a team of honest, capable, and professionally competent officials, and strive to excellently fulfill the task of protecting justice, human rights, and citizens' rights, and contribute to the sustainable development of the province.”

On this occasion, comrades Bich Van Nhien, former Deputy Chief Justice of the People's Court of Binh Thuan province, and Nguyen Van Chien, former Deputy Chief Justice of the People's Court of Dak Nong province (formerly), were honored to receive the Third-Class Labor Order from the President of Vietnam.

The Supreme People's Court also awarded the Commemorative Medal for the Cause of the Judiciary to four individuals who are leaders of provincial departments and agencies and have made significant contributions to the development of the judicial sector.
