Different from the main white, blue, yellow, red colors of Christmas, this year, the decorations also have many other colors.
Taking advantage of her time after work, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa (residing in Lam Vien ward - Da Lat) stopped by to buy some necessary accessories to decorate the space for Christmas early. Ms. Hoa said: "Compared to previous years, this year I see that the products are more diverse and abundant. Many items appear with handmade, mini styles, which I quite like. Every year, my family spends a small amount of money to buy decorations to create a Christmas atmosphere. The prices are not too high compared to last year."
According to the general assessment of business households, this year's supply of goods is relatively abundant, there is no shortage. The work of listing prices and selling at the right price is carried out seriously, contributing to maintaining a stable market of goods during the peak season at the end of the year. "In recent weeks, the bookstore has imported enough Christmas accessories from mini pine trees, laurel wreaths, strings of lights, balls to Santa Claus hats, woolen socks... Most of the previous and recent days, mainly individual customers, long-time customers are Da Lat residents. The prices of some mini items are cheap, easy to choose, so many people who rent homestays and small rented houses often buy them to create a more joyful Christmas atmosphere. But if customers want a large tree to decorate their shop or store, the price is higher, they consider more carefully", said a sales staff of Chi Thanh bookstore.
Specifically, mini pine trees 30 - 60 cm high are sold for 260,000 - 300,000 VND/tree. For large pine trees, from 1.2 m to over 3 m high, the price can be from 1 - 5 million VND, depending on the type and material. Some stores also import small-sized pine trees and real pine trees, priced from 150,000 - 300,000 VND... However, popular products and Christmas accessories such as: colorful balls, bells, ribbons, bows, glasses - Christmas headbands, LED lights or Santa Claus costumes are still good selling items, with prices ranging from 20,000 VND - 500,000 VND depending on the material and size.
Besides traditional shops, the Christmas market becomes bustling and impressive thanks to the designs of cafes, homestays, tourist service shops... "My shop proactively decorated Christmas quite early to create a space to attract customers during the festive season. Accessories such as balls, strings of lights, bows, bells... were purchased from the beginning of this month. Some items such as small landscapes, decorative frames or letter boards we made ourselves with the staff to save costs and create our own highlights. The pine tree, Santa Claus model and some large accessories still have to be bought new, but the rest are all created in the shop's own style, with stories to impress visitors when they visit the shop", said the owner of Nero cafe.
In addition to direct shopping, many people, especially office workers, also choose to buy decorative products from e-commerce platforms such as: Lazada, Sendo, Shopee or social networking sites such as: Facebook, Zalo, Tiktok... with many diverse and vibrant options for the upcoming Christmas.
