Opening of the book introduction contest to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Revolutionary Tradition of the Party Committee, army and people of Ca Mau province (December 13)

On the evening of December 5, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Department of Education and Training to organize the opening of a book introduction contest to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Revolutionary Tradition of the Party Committee, army and people of Ca Mau province (December 13, 1940 - December 13, 2025) with the theme "Proud of the heroic homeland tradition".

Exam of Bac Lieu High School for the Gifted.

The competition had the participation of 16 teams from high schools in the province. The teams had to go through 2 rounds: Team introduction and book introduction.

In the team introduction, the teams will introduce themselves and their team members through dramatization such as plays, speeches, songs, dances, chants, folk songs... or presentations.

In the book introduction contest, each team will choose to introduce 01 book according to the content of the contest and draw lessons and meanings. Teams are encouraged to develop script content in the form of illustrations and slideshows.

The judges will give points to teams that invest in scripts, props, and costumes that are aesthetically pleasing and artistic.

Competition of Tac Van High School.

Through the contest, we aim to introduce to union members, youth and students good books with content that propagates historical significance, honors patriotic examples who heroically sacrificed in the Hon Khoai uprising; help today's generation understand and be more proud of the history, traditions and culture of the land and people of Ca Mau ; raise awareness of reading culture, arouse love of books, form reading habits, and have self-study awareness.

The contest also honors young readers who actively participate in reading activities and do meaningful, practical work to build a learning society at schools and localities. Thereby, educating union members, youth, and students to promote revolutionary traditions, pride in their heroic homeland, strive to practice, compete in studying, and contribute to building an increasingly rich and civilized homeland.

The contest takes place from December 5-6, at Ca Mau Provincial Library (No. 05, Luu Tan Tai Street, Tan Thanh Ward).
