HNP - On the afternoon of December 5, the People's Council of Xuan Mai commune held its third session to evaluate the results of implementing the socio-economic development tasks in 2025 and discuss and pass many important resolutions on development orientation for the 2026-2030 period.

Reporting at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Xuan Mai Commune People's Committee Trinh Ba Thuong emphasized that although it was the first year of operating the two-level local government model with many difficulties, a large workload, and continuous impacts of natural disasters, the commune still achieved many outstanding results. The growth rate of total product value is estimated at 8.3%; the economic structure has shifted towards increasing the proportion of industry - services; the average income reached 86.8 million VND/person/year.

In addition, Xuan Mai commune's economy continues to maintain stable growth in three areas. State budget revenue in the area reached 11,679 billion VND, equal to 121.8% of the estimate; total commune budget revenue is more than 345 billion VND. The disbursement of public investment capital is focused on and directed strongly, expected to complete 100% of the assigned capital plan. Agriculture develops in the direction of high quality, expanding organic models, VietGAP; the whole commune has built 19 OCOP products, many of which have brands and competitiveness.

The cultural and social fields have achieved many positive results. Education quality has been maintained, with 12 public schools meeting national standards; the cultural and sports movement has spread strongly, 95.5% of households have achieved the title of “Cultural Family”, 31/36 villages have achieved the title of “Cultural Village”.

Social security policies are fully and promptly implemented; the commune continues to maintain no poor households, the rate of near-poor households is 1.06%; the health insurance coverage rate reaches 95.5%. Medical work and people's health care are enhanced; security and national defense are maintained, social order and safety are ensured.

Promoting the achieved foundation, in 2026, Xuan Mai commune sets a target of 9.1% growth rate in product value; budget revenue in the area of ​​over 319 billion VND; economic structure continues to shift towards industry - services; increase the rate of schools meeting national standards to 77.8%; maintain no poor households and strive for 100% of households to have access to clean water. The commune identifies priorities for attracting investment, developing urban infrastructure, promoting digital transformation, administrative reform, expanding high-tech agricultural production, improving people's quality of life.
