The fourth session of the People's Council of Thuong Cat ward considered and approved 8 Resolutions.

Speaking at the meeting, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Thuong Cat Ward, Luu Ngoc Ha, said that the 4th session of the People's Council of the ward is a regular year-end meeting, with the task of comprehensively reviewing the socio- economic development situation, ensuring national defense and security; budget revenue and expenditure results and implementation of the public investment plan for 2025. At the same time, the meeting also discussed and decided on key tasks and solutions for the socio-economic development plan for 2026, along with many other important contents within its authority.

The Standing Committee of the Ward People's Council has proactively coordinated with the People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Ward and relevant agencies to prepare the meeting contents with the motto of thoroughness, methodicalness and quality. According to the program, the 4th meeting of the Ward People's Council will consider and approve 8 Resolutions.

Accordingly, the Ward People's Council will review and evaluate the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security in 2025 and the socio-economic development plan in 2026. Along with considering the assignment of staffing targets for specialized departments and public service units under the People's Committee of Thuong Cat Ward in 2026, the Ward People's Council will review Resolution 2 on the Public Investment Plan in 2026 and the Ward budget estimate, the plan to allocate the Ward budget estimate in 2026. In addition, the People's Council will review and resolve the contents on the supervision activities of the Ward People's Council; the supervision program of the Ward People's Council; on answering questions at the meeting, answering voters' recommendations before and after the last meeting of 2025 of the Ward People's Council, term 2021-2026.

After a period of urgent work with high responsibility, the 4th session of the Ward People's Council for the 2021-2026 term completed the proposed contents and programs. The Ward People's Council voted to pass 8 Resolutions with a high consensus rate.

Regarding the Resolutions on the Socio-Economic Development Plan, ensuring national defense and security; budget estimates and public investment plans for 2026 of the ward. The ward People's Council delegates unanimously assessed that, with high political determination and a spirit of solidarity and responsibility, Thuong Cat ward has focused on leadership, direction, proactively and synchronously implementing tasks; focused on removing difficulties and obstacles in various fields and achieved positive results.

Based on the responsible and frank discussion opinions of the People's Council delegates; the review reports of the People's Council Committees and the specific explanations of the ward People's Committee members, the Ward People's Council voted to approve the Resolution on the Socio-Economic Development Plan for 2026 with 17 main targets and 9 groups of key tasks and solutions. Resolution on the public investment plan for 2026 and Resolution on the budget estimate and budget allocation for 2026.

Regarding the Resolution on assigning staffing quotas for specialized departments and public service units under the People's Committee of Thuong Cat Ward in 2026, based on the Resolution approved by the People's Council of the Ward at the Session, it is requested that the People's Committee of the Ward arrange and effectively use the assigned staffing in 2026. This means ensuring human resources suitable to the requirements of the tasks, having a plan to train and improve the quality of the team of civil servants and public employees, ensuring quality human resources, improving public service efficiency and serving the People.

Regarding the supervisory activities of the Ward People's Council, answering questions at the meeting, answering voters' recommendations before and after the last meeting of 2025 of the Ward People's Council, term 2021-2026, the Ward People's Council has well implemented the supervisory activities as decided in the Resolutions of the People's Council and directed by the Standing Committee of the Ward People's Council.
