On the evening of December 3, the People's Committee of Cua Nam Ward organized a free screening of the film "Red Rain", opening a wide-ranging political and ideological activity in the entire political system of the ward. The activity aimed to practically celebrate the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, the 36th anniversary of the National Defense Day, the 36th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Veterans Association and the 79th anniversary of the National Resistance Day, while contributing to educating the revolutionary tradition for cadres, party members and people in the area.
According to the plan of the Party Committee of Cua Nam Ward, the film "Red Rain" - a film inspired by the 81 days and nights of fighting to protect Quang Tri Citadel in 1972, directed by Dang Thai Huyen and written by Chu Lai - will be screened for free in 10 sessions in December 2025 at many locations such as Hanoi Book Street, the meeting hall of the Party Committee - People's Council of the ward, the People's Committee of the ward, the Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, schools and residential groups. The flexible arrangement of time and location helps a large number of cadres, armed forces, students, union members, association members and people have the opportunity to access and participate in practical and meaningful political activities.

In his opening speech, comrade Pham Tuan Long, Secretary of the Party Committee of Cua Nam Ward, emphasized that the film screening is not only a cultural activity serving the spiritual life of the people, but also a form of political activity rich in educational value.
The work helps foster patriotism, arouse national pride and strengthen the political will of cadres and party members. The images of the battle to protect Quang Tri Citadel recreated in the film are a touching reminder of the great sacrifices of generations of fathers and brothers, thereby helping each person to be more aware of their responsibility in building and developing their homeland and country.
Comrade Pham Tuan Long said that in modern life, many people do not have the opportunity to go to the cinema due to work conditions and time, especially historical films with depth. The ward's coordination with Viettel Hanoi to organize free film screenings right at the facility demonstrates the attention of the Party Committee and the government to the people's need to enjoy culture, while contributing to increasing the spread of works of art with profound humanistic values. The organization was carried out solemnly, ensuring safety, in accordance with copyright and technical regulations.
Along with traditional educational activities, Cua Nam ward is promoting many solutions to improve the cultural and spiritual life of the people. One of the highlights is the construction and operation of a free wifi system at public places, tourist areas and community living spaces such as Hanoi Opera House, 19-8 Flower Garden, 46 Hang Bai Ancient Villa, 19-12 Book Street and Hoa Lo Prison Relic.

From the opening screening tonight (December 3), Cua Nam ward will continue to organize subsequent screenings this month, at schools, residential group headquarters and cultural institutions to create conditions for all classes of people to participate. The activity is expected to become a political activity with strong influence, contributing to fostering revolutionary ideals, fostering the spirit of dedication and strengthening great solidarity in the community.
The screening of the film “Red Rain” on the evening of December 3 attracted the participation of many delegates, officials, party members, veterans, students and local people. Many viewers were moved when witnessing the images recreating the heroic and painful fight of the previous generation, considering this a valuable lesson about the tradition of patriotism and responsibility towards the Fatherland in the new period.
