Today (December 4, 2025), the 1st Provincial Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, term 2025-2030, solemnly opened. The Congress will announce the decision of the Central Youth Union to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the 1st Provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, term 2025-2030, and the delegation to attend the national congress.

According to the Provincial Youth Union, in the 2022-2025 period, strongly innovating and innovating the content and methods of propaganda and education is the way that the Youth Union chapters at all levels have been taking advantage of to perform the function of a socialist school for union members and youth.

Notably, political and ideological education work is always innovated in implementation methods with many creative ways, such as: livestream, infographic, youth theory radio, forums, especially the online contest "Light to illuminate the path" attracting a large number of cadres and young union members to participate.

In addition, the work of educating revolutionary traditions, patriotism, and national pride for young people has been effectively implemented, closely following historical, political, and cultural events of the country, the province, and major holidays. Notably, the activities of "repaying gratitude" combined with the giving of more than 31,710 gifts of gratitude, worth more than 13.4 billion VND...

In particular, the work of moral and lifestyle education associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style contributes to forming a generation of young union members who live beautifully, responsibly, have a pure heart, bright mind and great ambitions.

Through that, there were over 5,800 collectives and exemplary youths following Uncle Ho's teachings that were commended by all levels of the Youth Union.

In the past period, the revolutionary action movements of the Union have aroused the youth and enthusiasm of the Union members and spread their own unique marks.

Typically, voluntarily participating in the construction of new rural areas, the Youth Union at all levels has repaired 336,810km, built 148.5km of new rural roads; built 168.2km of new rural road lighting works; built 853 new charity houses...

Propaganda and education work is one of the important tasks regularly carried out by youth union chapters at all levels.

In the Creative Youth movement, the Youth Union members are not only the implementers, but also propose new ideas to serve local socio-economic development, with 19,000 proposed ideas and initiatives, more than 3,100 ideas and initiatives supported by the Youth Union organization to be realized.

Outstanding and creative in work, life and serving the people, 643 teams of "Digital Education for the People", "Youth Volunteers to Support the Operation of the 2-Level Local Government Model", "Community Digital Technology Team" have been established, attracting nearly 95,700 Youth Union members to support over 48,300 people...

As a close friend of the Youth Union, the Youth Union at all levels also creates a favorable environment for the Youth Union to develop comprehensively, through the implementation of companion programs. Promoting pioneering and creative spirit

Under the “common roof of the Youth Union”, the Youth Union members have continuously pioneered and enthusiastically contributed their youth to serve the people and build their homeland. Typically, the Provincial People's Committee Youth Union has nearly 1,030 grassroots scientific topics and provincial and grassroots initiatives recognized.

In addition, young cadres, civil servants and public employees also demonstrated a sense of responsibility, handling 13,560 direct files and over 42,700 online files related to legal procedures and administrative reform files for the people.

Meanwhile, the Youth Union members of the school sector compete in studying and training, actively conduct scientific research, and participate in innovation and startup competitions.

Like Tran Phuong Thanh - a student at the Western University of Construction, with her initiative, eagerness to learn, and passion for research, over the past years, Phuong Thanh has achieved the title of "January Star", "5 Good Students" at the Central level, and outstanding young party member at the provincial level...

Phuong Thanh shared: "Participating in union activities, I have gained more experiences, helping me to mature, understand better the responsibilities of a union member, so that I can compete to study well, practice hard to become a young generation that is both red and professional."

Meanwhile, rural youth have been quick to take advantage of science and technology in production, choosing start-up and career fields suitable to the local potential, thereby not only increasing their own income but also contributing to the economic development of the province.

For example, Mr. Thach Kieu Phong (Song Loc commune) with the deer breeding model brings in revenue of 150 million VND/year. Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Hau - Secretary of the Youth Union of Tich Phuoc hamlet (Tra On commune) is good at prefabricated house processing, owns 3 hectares of yellow papaya trees that are bearing heavy fruit...

"As a rural youth, I believe that as long as you study hard and are determined, you can do business effectively in your hometown," he said.

Shining with the enthusiasm of "wherever needed, youth have", the Youth Union has been taking the lead on all fronts, especially in activities that bring practical value to the community.

It can be mentioned that Vinh Xuan Commune Youth Union has coordinated to implement street lighting lines of more than 3.5km; repaired and upgraded 6.3km of interwoven roads; cleared a 14.6km long road; and implemented 20km of flower roads.

Union members strive in study and scientific research.

Binh Minh Ward Youth Union has carried out over 20 projects, youth work to participate in local construction; donated 710 necessities to youth and people; supported the construction of 16 new houses. Binh Phuoc Commune Youth Union has carried out 24 new rural construction projects; planted over 28,000 flowers and trees; reinforced and repaired over 20 roads; 3 projects to light up rural roads...

The first working session of the 1st Provincial Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, term 2025-2030 took place on the afternoon of December 3. Attending the congress were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Commission and 349/350 official delegates who are union officials and exemplary union members representing the beliefs, wills and aspirations of over 115,000 union members in the province.

At the first working session, the congress elected the Presidium, the Secretariat, and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board; approved the program and working regulations of the congress; listened to the presentation of the draft political report and review report of the Provisional Executive Committee of the Provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union presented at the 1st Provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress; reported on the synthesis of comments on the documents of the 1st Provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress and the documents of the 13th National Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress, term 2026-2031; and summarized comments on amending and supplementing the Youth Union Charter...

As Ms. Phan Vo Ngoc Tran - Secretary of Binh Phuoc Commune Youth Union said: "Through every task, big or small, the spirit of responsibility of the Youth Union members always shines brightly."
