Received more than 4.4 billion VND to support disabled and orphaned children

DNO - On the evening of December 3, at Trung Vuong Theater, the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities, Orphans and Poor Patients of Da Nang City organized the 12th "Pink Hearts" program in 2025. The program received support from dozens of donors with a total amount of more than 4.4 billion VND.

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan attended. The program was broadcast live by Da Nang Newspaper and Radio and Television on DNRT2 channel and online on the website www.dnrt.vn.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long, Chairman of the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities, Orphans and Poor Patients of Da Nang City, said that “Pink Hearts” is a program to honor and show gratitude to the golden hearts and kind hearts that have contributed to social activities; calling for support for the fund to implement humanitarian and social programs of the city; and at the same time, it is an opportunity to praise the examples of people with disabilities and orphans who have overcome their circumstances.

In 2025, the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities, Orphans and Poor Patients of Da Nang City will carry out many effective humanitarian and charity programs, support livelihoods, relieve difficulties, and help many poor and disabled students go to school...

Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans Nguyen Trong Dam acknowledged and highly appreciated the creative approach of the City Association in mobilizing funds from red hearts.

The noble gestures of benefactors, sponsors, organizations and individuals at home and abroad for the disabled, orphans and people in difficult circumstances have helped them overcome adversity and build a better life.

On this occasion, the Association for the Support of the Disabled, Orphans and Poor Patients of Da Nang City received support from dozens of benefactors, totaling more than 4.4 billion VND.

At the same time, through the Pink Hearts program, the Association presented a symbolic plaque including cash and gifts worth 50 million VND to Mr. Cu Tan Bau, Chairman of the Thien Tam Khanh Hoa Club to share the difficulties with people affected by storms and floods.
