Pig price today December 4, 2025 increased simultaneously: Many localities returned to the mark of 60,000 VND/kg

Pig prices today, December 4, 2025, continued to increase in all three regions, with the North recording many places reaching 60,000 VND/kg after this morning's adjustment session.

Pig prices in the North increased, reaching 60,000 VND/kg in many places.

The Northern pig price market this morning witnessed an upward trend in most localities.

After the adjustment, the price of live pigs at 60,000 VND/kg has returned, recorded in many provinces such as: Thai Nguyen, Hanoi , Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Phu Tho and Hung Yen. This is also the highest price of live pigs in the country.

Cao Bang and Son La provinces also increased by VND2,000, to VND59,000/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in the Northern region fluctuates between 58,000 - 60,000 VND/kg. Ninh Binh is the only locality in the region that has kept the price of live pigs stable at 59,000 VND/kg.

Pig prices in the Central Highlands fluctuate by region

The price of live pigs in the Central Highlands also continued to fluctuate positively this morning. The price of live pigs in this region is fluctuating between 57,000 - 59,000 VND/kg.

Thanh Hoa and Nghe An are still the two provinces with the highest live pig prices in the region, reaching 59,000 VND/kg, after an increase of 1,000 VND/kg.

The lowest regional price of 57,000 VND/kg is currently seen in the provinces of Quang Tri, Hue, Gia Lai, Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa. Notably, the provinces of Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai and Gia Lai have seen a sharp increase of 2,000 VND/kg this morning.

Pig price in the South increased slightly, in many places up to 58,000 VND/kg

In the Southern market, except for Dong Thap which remained stable with the price of live pigs at 56,000 VND/kg, the price of live pigs in the remaining provinces and cities all increased by 1,000 VND/kg.

After adjustment, the price of live pigs in Dong Nai, Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City all increased to 58,000 VND/kg, the highest in the Southern region.

Can Tho, Vinh Long and Ca Mau all reached 56,000 VND/kg. An Giang reached 55,000 VND/kg, the lowest price of live pigs in the region.

Gia Lai announces a commune free of African swine fever

On December 3, the Department of Animal Husbandry, Veterinary and Fisheries of Son La province announced that Gia Phu commune (Son La province) is qualified to be free of African swine fever.

Previously, Gia Phu commune had to destroy all infected pigs after testing positive in August. The work of zoning, isolation, sanitation and disinfection was fully implemented. The announcement of the end of the epidemic will create conditions for people to continue raising pigs safely and develop the economy sustainably.
