General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission, presided over the fifteenth meeting of the Central Military Commission.

On the morning of December 4th, the Central Military Commission held its fifteenth conference to evaluate the results of leadership in implementing military and national defense tasks in 2025, and to determine the direction and tasks for 2026; to provide feedback on the draft Resolution on leadership in military and national defense tasks and the building of the Party Committee of the Army in 2026; and to consider, give opinions on, and decide on several other important issues. General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission, chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Member of the Political Bureau, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission; and Tran Cam Tu, Member of the Political Bureau, Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee.

General Phan Văn Giang, member of the Politburo, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, and Minister of National Defense, chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were members of the Politburo: Le Minh Hung, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and Head of the Central Organization Department; Phan Dinh Trac, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and Head of the Central Internal Affairs Department; and General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security.

Attending the conference were Comrade Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; and other members of the Central Committee of the Party, and leaders of the Central Party departments.

At the conference, delegates viewed a visual report summarizing military and defense work in 2025 and outlining directions and tasks for 2026; listened to a presentation of the draft Resolution on leading military and defense tasks and building the Party Committee of the Army in 2026; and then discussed and provided feedback on the contents.

After listening to the reports and discussions, General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission, delivered a speech providing guidance and direction on several important issues.
