At the conference, the representative of the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem ward briefly presented the report on the estimated results of implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, building the government, and implementing the law in the last 6 months of 2025 and the draft report on the key socio-economic development plan for 2026.

According to the report, the ward's economy and urban management, state budget collection are guaranteed, estimated to reach and exceed the set targets; urban management is tightened.
The implementation of social security policies continues to achieve many important achievements. The health insurance coverage rate is estimated at 96% of the total population, completing the target assigned by the Ward People's Council. The child nutrition situation has been positively improved, with the rate of children under 5 years old suffering from malnutrition and underweight estimated at 0.1% compared to 2024. The work of strengthening the social security net has been promoted, with the rate of workers participating in compulsory social insurance estimated at 47.8% and voluntary social insurance estimated at 5% of the total working-age workforce.
Representatives of the Residential Area Front Committee raised 10 counter-arguments on key issues such as: Maintaining economic growth, improving the quality of urban management, ensuring social security, promoting digital transformation and election preparation. These recommendations were discussed, clarified, and committed to be accepted and adjusted by the ward People's Committee leaders to suit the practical situation.

Concluding the conference, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoan Kiem Ward Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh affirmed that the opinions at the conference will be compiled by the secretariat to complete the draft of important documents to be submitted to the upcoming meeting of the Ward People's Council.
