At the Conference, comrade Dao Xuan Dung, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Hanoi Party Committee, directly conveyed important information about the world , regional and domestic contexts.

Comrade Dao Xuan Dung said the results achieved confirm that Vietnam continues to achieve many outstanding achievements, such as: The economy maintains high growth; the political and social situation is stable, people's lives are guaranteed; social security is focused; Vietnam's international position and prestige are constantly enhanced.

Notably, 2025 will mark many milestones in strategic infrastructure, science and technology, digital transformation, especially achievements in innovation, digital economic development, digital human resources; outstanding results in implementing poverty reduction projects for the 2021-2025 period; progress in institutional reform, streamlining the apparatus, reforming administrative procedures and preventing and combating corruption.

Regarding the preparations for the 14th National Party Congress, Comrade Dao Xuan Dung also updated the preparations, including: Personnel work; document drafting; Congress organization time; scale of activities... In particular, in the past time, the whole country has organized 3,908 conferences to collect comments on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress, attracting 2.5 million comments from the people. The people highly appreciated the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th Congress with the spirit of "Wisdom - Innovation - Aspiration".

Regarding the situation in Hanoi, comrade Dao Xuan Dung emphasized that in 2025, Hanoi will complete 23/24 targets, the GRDP growth rate is estimated at 8.5%, exceeding the plan; at the same time, Hanoi leads the country in innovation index and achieves many excellent results in digital transformation, infrastructure development, administrative reform...

In addition to the common achievements of the whole country as well as the Capital, Comrade Dao Xuan Dung also pointed out the major challenges in the world today, and analyzed the outstanding opportunities of Vietnam, such as: Continuing to be a safe and attractive destination for FDI capital flows; promoting digital economy, green economy; opening up many new growth spaces in the coming years.

The Deputy Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department also analyzed the latest developments in the world and regional situation in the 2024-2025 period, including the trend of expanding connections between countries, strategic competition, complicated developments, conflicts in the Middle East, tensions at some hotspots, and impacts on global trade and economy...
