The VinFuture 2025 Award Ceremony took place on the evening of December 5 in Hanoi, with the appearance of a series of VIP guests and the world's leading scientists.

On the evening of December 5, the VinFuture 2025 Award ceremony took place at Ho Guom Theater ( Hanoi ) and was broadcast live on VTV1 - Vietnam Television, and livestreamed on many social networking platforms.

The winners of the million-dollar prizes will be announced in a moment that will be watched by the global scientific community. The VinFuture Prize is worth $3 million and three special prizes for female scientists, scientists from developing countries and scientists researching new fields, each worth $500,000.

Attending the VinFuture 2025 Award Ceremony were Mr. Tran Thanh Man, Politburo member, Chairman of the National Assembly; Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, along with many leaders of ministries, branches, localities; and representatives of a number of foreign embassies in Hanoi.

This year's season, VinFuture recorded more than 1,700 applications from over 70 countries and territories - 2.8 times more than season 1 - showing the increasingly strong reputation and influence of the award after half a decade of development.

The honored works are the crystallization of pioneering thinking, of persistent efforts to overcome challenges and of the aspiration to use science to serve life.

Throughout the award ceremony, VinFuture 2025's message of "Rising Together - Prospering Together" will be told in the language of contemporary art, combined with Vietnamese identity.

Besides the scientific "stars", the VinFuture 2025 awards stage will feature Alicia Keys - global music icon, owner of 17 prestigious Grammy gold statues.

Meanwhile, Intervision 2025 champion, singer Duc Phuc, in his first appearance, will bring a performance combining the beauty of national culture with modern music, portraying a Vietnam rich in identity and growing strongly on the journey of integration.

After the first 4 seasons, there were 4 groups of scientists who, after being honored on the VinFuture stage, continued to be named at the Nobel Prize.

This is considered a testament to the outstanding vision of the first international award founded by Vietnamese people, and at the same time reflects the worthy recognition of research that has a profound impact on humanity.

In the 5th season, VinFuture's message "Rise Together - Prosper Together" affirms the belief that sustainable development of the planet can only be achieved when knowledge is shared, and science and technology become catalysts to help countries progress together.

With that spirit, the "Science for Life" seminar, the "Dialogue to Explore the Future" series at 10 major universities, and the "Toa V - Scientific Touchpoint" exhibition, taking place continuously from December 2 to 6, brought Hanoi into rare intellectual festivals.
