Live: VinFuture Awards Ceremony 2025

On the evening of December 5, the 5th annual VinFuture Global Science and Technology Awards Ceremony took place at the Hoan Kiem Theater (Hanoi).

• The VinFuture Main Prize, worth 3 million USD (over 79 billion VND), will be awarded to research that has a major impact on the global population. Three special prizes, worth 500,000 USD (over 13 billion VND) each, will be awarded to female scientists , scientists from developing countries, and scientists researching new fields.

  According to the Organizing Committee, this year's VinFuture season recorded more than 1,700 applications from more than 70 countries and territories (2.8 times more than season 1), demonstrating the increasingly strong reputation and influence of the award after half a decade of development.

  The honored works are the crystallization of pioneering thinking, of persistent efforts to overcome challenges and of the aspiration to use science to serve life.

  

  Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presents the VinFuture Prize 2024 to scientists.

  Professor Dang Van Chi, a member of the VinFuture Prize Council, revealed that this year's Main Prize is a research project that has a huge impact on the global population.

  Throughout the Award Ceremony, VinFuture 2025's message of "Rising Together - Prospering Together" will be told in the language of contemporary art, combined with Vietnamese identity. The carefully prepared performances will recreate VinFuture's 5-year journey: From the origin of aspiration to global impact.

  Alongside the science stars, the VinFuture Awards 2025 stage will feature Alicia Keys - a global music icon, owner of 17 prestigious Grammy awards.

  Meanwhile, Intervision 2025 champion Duc Phuc, in his first appearance, will bring a performance combining the beauty of national culture with modern music, portraying a Vietnam rich in identity and growing strongly on the journey of integration.
