Law dissemination conference

On the morning of December 2, the Department of Justice held a conference to disseminate the Law on Organization of Local Government in 2025; Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies.

At the conference, delegates listened to the reporter disseminate the new points of the Law on Organization of Local Government in 2025 with basic contents such as: Delimitation of authority, decentralization, delegation of authority between local governments at all levels; tasks and powers of local governments at all levels; model of local government organization, organizational structure and operation of People's Councils and People's Committees at all levels; organization of administrative units, establishment, dissolution, merger, division, adjustment of administrative unit boundaries...

Regarding the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies, delegates also learned new points in the election work stipulated in the Law.

The reporter presented the key contents of the Law on Organization of Local Government.

These are documents of fundamental significance in the organization of the State apparatus and the exercise of the People's power. In particular, the Law on Organization of Local Government 2025 strongly institutionalizes the Party's viewpoint on decentralization, delegation of authority, and promotion of autonomy and self-responsibility of local governments according to the motto "whichever level solves the problem more effectively, the authority will be assigned to that level".

The Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies supplements many new mechanisms to ensure the selection of truly worthy National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies with qualities - capacity - prestige, fully demonstrating the people's mastery, while at the same time setting stricter legal standards on the consultation process, election campaigning, handling of complaints and lawsuits during elections...
