Combined payment of pension and social insurance benefits

VTV.vn - From today, Gia Lai province will begin paying three months' pension and social insurance benefits to people affected by storms and floods.

More than 43,000 people in Gia Lai will receive 3 months of pension and social insurance benefits.

Gia Lai Provincial Social Insurance has sent a document to Gia Lai Provincial Post Office regarding the payment of 3 months of pension and social insurance benefits (December 2025, January and February 2026).

The document aims to implement the Government's direction in Resolution No. 380/NQ-CP dated November 25, 2025 on solutions to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, restore production in localities in the central region and Official Dispatch No. 3145/BHXH-TCKT dated November 27, 2025 of the Vietnam Social Security on the payment of 3 months of pension and social insurance benefits (December 2025, January and February 2026). To effectively handle and pay social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance regimes to ensure full and timely payment to beneficiaries; To facilitate beneficiaries in areas affected by storms, floods, and inundations to overcome the consequences and celebrate the Lunar New Year 2026, Gia Lai Provincial Social Insurance guides the payment of 3 months of pension and monthly social insurance benefits (December 2025, January and February 2026) in the same period as the payment of pension and social insurance benefits for December 2025 as follows:

First, the Provincial Social Insurance provides funds to pay pensions and social insurance benefits (December 2025 and January and February 2026) to Gia Lai Provincial Post Office (for beneficiaries receiving in cash); Make payments through personal accounts for beneficiaries (from December 1, 2025).

Gia Lai Provincial Social Insurance also conducts communication and notification to pensioners and monthly social insurance beneficiaries about the above mentioned lump sum payment.

At the same time, social insurance strengthens the inspection, payment supervision and beneficiary management of postal agencies; promptly resolves difficulties and problems arising in the implementation process so as not to affect the rights of beneficiaries; promptly recovers according to regulations for cases where beneficiaries have received 3 months of combined pension and social insurance benefits and then passed away.

For basic Social Insurance, carry out communication and notification to pensioners and monthly social insurance beneficiaries about the above lump sum payment.

Along with that, strengthen the inspection, payment supervision and beneficiary management of postal agencies; promptly remove difficulties and problems arising in the implementation process so as not to affect the rights of beneficiaries; promptly recover according to regulations for cases where beneficiaries have received 3 months of combined pension and social insurance benefits and then passed away.

According to Gia Lai Provincial Social Insurance, payments through personal accounts will be made from December 1, 2025, and beneficiaries will receive them directly at the Post Office's payment points from December 5, 2025.

In Gia Lai province, during this period, more than 43,000 beneficiaries will receive a combined payment of 3 months' pension and social insurance benefits.
