Giving gifts to support students and lecturers affected by floods

On the afternoon of December 1, at Dak Lak Medical College, Hanoi Medical College, Ha Dong Medical College and Dak Lak Medical College coordinated to organize a gift giving ceremony to support students and teachers of Dak Lak Medical College.

Accordingly, 221 students whose families suffered losses in the recent floods received support gifts, each worth 700,000 VND, to promptly encourage them to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and continue studying.

Representatives of Hanoi Medical College and Ha Dong Medical College presented gifts to Dak Lak Medical College.

At the same time, the schools also gave a special gift of 10 million VND in cash to a lecturer whose life was severely affected when floodwaters swept away all of his household belongings. This showed the solidarity of the lecturers with their colleagues in distress.

Mr. Le Thanh Hong, Vice Principal in charge of Dak Lak Medical College, said: "The cooperation of the units is a great source of spiritual encouragement for teachers and students in the flood area, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love of the medical training team in the face of the difficulties that students and lecturers have to face after natural disasters."
