Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ta Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, said: "Since the beginning of the year, natural disasters have occurred continuously and our province has had to suffer extremely serious consequences, causing heavy losses in human lives and property. Regarding housing alone, the whole province has nearly 700 houses completely collapsed, about 1,400 houses were severely damaged, nearly 106,000 houses were flooded; of which about 10,000 houses need to be repaired and upgraded."
Faced with such great losses, implementing the direction of the Politburo , the Secretariat, Resolution No. 380 of the Government and Telegram No. 234 of the Prime Minister on launching the "Quang Trung Campaign" to rapidly build and repair houses for families affected in the Central provinces, the Provincial People's Committee officially launched a campaign to mobilize all forces to build new houses and repair houses for people in the province.

The province aims to complete the repair of all severely damaged houses by December 31, 2025 at the latest; complete the reconstruction of nearly 700 new houses, and arrange resettlement for all families whose houses collapsed by January 31, 2026 at the latest.
This is not only a milestone progress, but also a commitment of the province to ensure that all people soon have stable housing, a place to worship their ancestors, and celebrate Lunar New Year and New Year 2026 in the safest and most cozy conditions.
