Dak Lak launched the "Quang Trung Campaign" to rapidly build houses for people in flood-affected areas.

On the afternoon of December 1, at Tuy An Bac commune, the Provincial People's Committee held a launching ceremony for the "Quang Trung Campaign" to rapidly build and repair houses for people affected by storms and floods.

Attending the event were comrades Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ta Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Huynh Thi Chien Hoa, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and leaders of relevant units and localities.

Provincial leaders presented gifts to households and units and forces helping people build houses.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ta Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, said: "Since the beginning of the year, natural disasters have occurred continuously and our province has had to suffer extremely serious consequences, causing heavy losses in human lives and property. Regarding housing alone, the whole province has nearly 700 houses completely collapsed, about 1,400 houses were severely damaged, nearly 106,000 houses were flooded; of which about 10,000 houses need to be repaired and upgraded."

Faced with such great losses, implementing the direction of the Politburo , the Secretariat, Resolution No. 380 of the Government and Telegram No. 234 of the Prime Minister on launching the "Quang Trung Campaign" to rapidly build and repair houses for families affected in the Central provinces, the Provincial People's Committee officially launched a campaign to mobilize all forces to build new houses and repair houses for people in the province.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Tung (Binh Hoa village, Tuy An Bac commune) thanked the provincial leaders for supporting the rebuilding of a new house for his family.

The province aims to complete the repair of all severely damaged houses by December 31, 2025 at the latest; complete the reconstruction of nearly 700 new houses, and arrange resettlement for all families whose houses collapsed by January 31, 2026 at the latest.

This is not only a milestone progress, but also a commitment of the province to ensure that all people soon have stable housing, a place to worship their ancestors, and celebrate Lunar New Year and New Year 2026 in the safest and most cozy conditions.

Comrade Ta Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the ceremony.

To achieve this goal, the province requires departments, branches, construction units and commune and ward authorities to mobilize maximum resources according to the motto "whoever has anything helps"; organize construction vigorously, quickly and ensure the quality, sustainability and efficiency of each project.

Households eligible for support closely coordinate with the government and construction units to ensure the construction process goes smoothly, shortens the completion time and stabilizes their lives soon; at the same time, continue to make efforts and proactively strive to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

This is an extremely meaningful source of motivation for the province to continue its efforts to overcome the consequences and gradually stabilize people's lives."
