At Phu Yen University, Dr. Tran Lang, the school’s principal, said that from November 19 to 25, the school had to temporarily suspend teaching activities. The entire school has 287 students whose families suffered losses due to the flood.
The school mobilized 532 cadres, lecturers, staff and students, contributing more than 2,700 working days to participate in distributing relief goods, cleaning the environment, supporting kitchens and transporting necessities to people in flooded areas.
The activity raised more than 300 million VND, 11.5 tons of rice, 35 tons of essential goods, along with many medicines, medical supplies and 1.2 tons of environmental treatment chemicals.
Regarding the organizational structure, human resources and training activities, by November 2025, Phu Yen University has 168 officials and employees, training 12 university majors, 1 college major with a total of 1,891 students, including 389 students from outside the province.

According to Nguyen Trai High School, the recent flood damaged many equipment, tables, chairs, documents, camera systems, electricity, etc. The estimated damage is about 1 billion VND. Most of the students and teachers' families were severely flooded and lost their property.
Immediately after the flood, all officers, teachers and staff of the school, with the support of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team (Provincial Police), and the 888th Regiment, carried out a general cleaning, dredged mud and soil from classrooms, repaired the electricity and water systems; and disinfected the school grounds to ensure safety before students returned to school. Since November 26, the school has resumed teaching.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An acknowledged and praised the sense of responsibility of the teachers of the two schools. She asked the lecturers and teachers of the two schools to continue to make more efforts, be more united and unanimous in teaching and guiding students.
In addition, it is necessary to take advantage of the spread of social networks to share beautiful images of humanity and mutual support during floods, contributing to strengthening people's trust, refuting false and distorted information that causes public disorder in the context of hostile forces taking advantage of natural disasters to incite and disrupt information.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested that schools continue to educate cadres, lecturers, teachers, pupils and students on accessing and posting information on social networks, ensuring ethical standards.

Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An praised Phu Yen University for proactively mobilizing students to participate in community support, not only contributing to sharing difficulties with the people but also helping students practice responsibility, compassion and civic awareness, knowing how to live for the community, and knowing how to act in the face of difficulties of the people of the province.
