On the morning of November 28, the University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University) held a graduation ceremony for undergraduate and graduate students in 2025. Among them, Le Thanh Tai, an excellent graduate of the materials and energy program of the Vietnam-France high-quality engineering program, was awarded the all-around cup and gold medal. With his excellent academic achievements, Thanh Tai received a doctoral scholarship in France. Before that, the male student had traveled through 8 Asian and European countries for exchange and research. Representing the students, Le Thanh Tai gave an emotional speech at the graduation ceremony.
Le Thanh Tai said: "Throughout my journey of studying and growing up, I always kept in mind a saying: "Step on my parents' sweat to go where they have never gone. Use my parents' money to learn things they have never learned." It is from my parents' love and silent sacrifice that I learned the value of effort, of gratitude and of the belief that if I do not stop trying, circumstances cannot limit my dreams."
"We would like to bow our heads in gratitude to our parents, who have given us the opportunity to come to this world and have always patiently accompanied us through each stage of growing up. We thank our parents for teaching us the first values of kindness, the spirit of effort, and how to stand up every time we fall. Today, when holding our diploma in hand, we understand that every achievement is not only our own result, but also a testament to the love, faith and silent sacrifices from our family. That steadfast support has helped us grow up and become stronger, ready to embark on a new journey," the new engineer shared emotionally on the special day of his learning journey.
Le Thanh Tai also did not forget to express his deep gratitude to the teachers who have accompanied him throughout his years at Bach Khoa. The male student said: "We are so lucky that on our journey to adulthood, we have met teachers who not only give us professional knowledge, but also help us learn to be independent, to know how to ask questions, to know how to take responsibility for our choices...".

Male student "shows off" series of certificates at graduation ceremony
The emotion not only came from the speech, new engineer Le Thanh Tai also received "a shower of compliments" from teachers and friends when he brought 36 certificates of merit onto the stage at the ceremony.
Sharing about the series of certificates, the male student said: "These are the certificates of merit, certificates of merit and certificates that I have received in 5 years of university. They are tangible treasures and more than that, I also have intangible treasures. They are knowledge, relationships and memories at school. And I firmly believe that all the new graduates here have their own treasures, this is truly a source of luggage and capital that will always generate exponential profits in the future, helping us to always develop and create positive values for society."
Sharing more with Thanh Nien Newspaper reporter , Le Thanh Tai said that in 5 years of studying, he has received nearly 50 certificates of merit, awards and certificates. The number of certificates brought to today's graduation ceremony is only a part of that number.
Sending a message to his fellow students, the male student of Bach Khoa shared: "Congratulations to us - those who dare to dream, dare to try and dare to achieve. This milestone is not only a recognition of our persistent efforts, but also a reminder that we are fully capable of going further. 5 years ago, from hall A5, Bach Khoa initiated the ambitions and opportunities of young people. Now, also from this hall, I am proud to say that - I am a new engineer of Bach Khoa University (Ho Chi Minh City National University), a person who carries within himself the fire of youth and the dream of contributing to society and the country".
