The 2nd Ho Chi Minh City International Photography Festival 2025 with the theme Photography without borders - Connecting creative technology , organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association in coordination with other organizations, took place from November 28 to 30, at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House.
Through this festival, the organizers hope to create a professional playground for professional and amateur photographers; promote international exchange and cooperation between Vietnamese artists and international photography organizations, and promote the image of Ho Chi Minh City.
The Ho Chi Minh City International Photography Festival also contributes to spreading the spirit of creativity, encouraging the community to approach photography as a storytelling tool, preserving Vietnamese cultural values.
Mr. Doan Hoai Trung - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association told Tuoi Tre Online that this year's festival has many outstanding activities. The International Photography Fair has nearly 100 booths.
One of the highlights of the festival that is maintained and enjoyed by many photographers is the Ho Chi Minh City International Photography Camp 2025.
With the theme of Ho Chi Minh City through the perspective of international photography , this year's photo camp has nearly 100 international photographers from the International Federation of Photographic Arts (FIAP), the Photographic Federation of America (PSA), and photographers from Australia, Singapore, Brunei, Thailand, Indonesia, Poland, Bahrain, Romania, Turkey, Japan, Pakistan, and South Korea.
They and Vietnamese photographers participate in photo composition activities, exchange and discuss photography techniques.

According to the organizers, after the photography camp from November 27 to December 1 in Ho Chi Minh City, the photography camp will expand to a new location, specifically in Lam Ha ( Lam Dong province) from December 1 to 3.
The Photo Marathon with the theme Ho Chi Minh City - Dynamic Destination had about 1,000 participants.
“With the spirit of openness, creativity and connection, we believe that this year's festival will bring many new experiences, spread the love of photography and contribute to promoting the image of Ho Chi Minh City as a friendly, dynamic and rich in identity” - Mr. Doan Hoai Trung shared.

Within the framework of the festival, the organizers will hold four exhibitions including:
Borderless Photography Exhibition at Ho Chi Minh City Book Street;
Exhibition of results of the 3rd Ho Chi Minh City International Art Photography Competition at the Union of Literature and Arts Associations;
The 15th Ho Chi Minh City Regional Festival Exhibition at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House;
Exhibition "Epic Song of the Age" by photographers from three cities including Hanoi - Hue - Ho Chi Minh City.
