MC Quynh Hoa - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House, leader of the Ho Chi Minh City artist volunteer team - said that the team has just handed over the project of decorating the community room at Thanh Loc Paralysis Care and Protection Center (Ho Chi Minh City). This place is currently sponsoring 246 disabled people, including 137 elderly people.
Accordingly, a team of volunteer artists from Ho Chi Minh City painted and decorated the walls of the relaxation space, donated televisions and karaoke systems to take care of the mental health of the elderly at the centers.
“The Vietnamese Calligraphy Club of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House is responsible for painting the walls. We chose to paint landscapes so that the elderly can feel like they are in a peaceful countryside.
The 55-inch TV was donated to the center by the HCM City artist volunteer team that won first prize in the MV creation contest Kiếp sau van la nguoi Viet Nam . Vietnam Charity Ambassador Luu Truyen (Sen Xanh group) supported the donation of the karaoke system" - MC Quynh Hoa told Tuoi Tre Online .
This is the first project in the series of Sharing Sound projects, on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City Artist Volunteer Team.

In the coming time, the HCM City artist volunteer team will continue to implement more community activity rooms in nursing homes, centers for the disabled or nursing war invalids...
The two main priority subjects of the project are caring for the disabled and the elderly. However, depending on the needs of each center, the team will have appropriate support to create the best relaxing space.
“Regarding the implementation costs, the team mobilized sponsors. In addition, the team also used the costs received from team members livestreaming to sell clothes to carry out the project,” MC Quynh Hoa added.
Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City artist volunteer team coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Youth Union, and the Ca Mau Provincial Youth Union to organize the program For Children's Smiles 2025 in Ca Mau.
The team installed 98 solar lights on residential roads in Mui Hamlet, Rach Tau Dong Hamlet, Kinh Dao Dong Hamlet, and Xom Bien Hamlet in Dat Mui Commune.
The team also repaired 14 dilapidated restrooms worth 70 million VND and donated 10 43-inch TVs to serve teaching for students at Primary School 1, Dat Mui Commune.
On this occasion, designer Viet Hung presented 165 sets of Ao Dai fabric to teachers in difficult circumstances and female teachers with over 20 years of experience in education in the southernmost region of the country. The total value of the program is 1.5 billion VND.
