Completed site clearance for 15/22 resettlement areas serving railway projects

To date, the city has completed site clearance for 15/22 resettlement areas in the following wards and communes: Duong Kinh, An Hung, An Khanh, Kien Thuy, Kien Hai, Duong An, Tan Ky, Chi Minh, Yet Kieu, Gia Loc, Gia Phuc, and Cam Giang.

According to the city's Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway construction investment project passing through Hai Phong city has a total length of about 89.88 km, passing through 23 communes, wards and special zones. The project includes 6 stations and 3 operating stations. The total land acquisition area is more than 624 hectares, with a total of 6,096 affected households.

Arrive At present, 9/23 communes, wards and special zones have completed the inventory of assets attached to land, including: Cat Hai, Nam Do Son, Dong Hai, Hai An, Dai Son, Gia Phuc, An Quang, Binh Giang, Tu Ky. The remaining 14 communes and wards have basically completed the inventory of assets attached to land.

Regarding the construction of resettlement areas serving the project, there are 14 projects with 22 resettlement areas. Up to now, the City People's Committee has approved all 14 resettlement projects; completed site clearance for 15/22 resettlement areas in wards and communes, including: Duong Kinh, An Hung, An Khanh, Kien Thuy, Kien Hai, Duong An, Tan Ky, Chi Minh, Yet Kieu, Gia Loc, Gia Phuc, Cam Giang.

The progress of implementation at stations on the route is being focused on. At Binh Giang station, Ke Sat commune (area 10.5 ha), the locality has completed the inventory of agricultural land area.

Hai Duong Nam Station in Gia Loc commune (area of ​​11.5 hectares) has counted, made a compensation plan for agricultural land and handed over the site to the Railway Management Board. Particularly, 3,762.1 square meters of residential land are being counted and a support and compensation plan is being made.

For Nam Hai Phong station in Kien Thuy and Kien Minh communes (51 hectares), the city has issued a notice of land reclamation, but has not yet conducted an inventory. Lach Huyen port station in Cat Hai special zone (area of ​​about 22 hectares) is water surface land, no compensation or support is incurred.

At Dinh Vu station in Hai An ward (area 5.6 ha), the agricultural land inventory has been basically completed. As for Nam Do Son station in Kien Hai commune (area 10.5 ha), the Kien Thuy Project Management Board has not yet issued a notice of land reclamation due to the lack of agreement on the route.

It is expected that on December 19, Gia Loc commune will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for component project 1 of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway construction investment project.
