To expedite the construction progress of the Le Loi Street Sidewalk Renovation Project, the Department of Construction has announced temporary traffic arrangements to facilitate construction.
Accordingly, from November 29th to December 31st, parking is prohibited on Le Loi Street (except for specialized motorcycles and vehicles serving the project construction).
The Department of Construction requests the Hai Phong Investment and Construction Project Management Board for Transportation and Agriculture Projects to arrange sufficient road signage, barricades around the construction area, and assign personnel to monitor and direct traffic throughout the construction process.
The Traffic Police Department of the city police, the ward police, and the People's Committee of Gia Vien ward are coordinating to regulate traffic and handle violations according to regulations.
Previously, during an inspection of the progress of the Le Loi Street sidewalk renovation project on November 12th, Comrade Le Tien Chau, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee, and Head of the Hai Phong City National Assembly Delegation, requested the project's investor, the Hai Phong Investment and Construction Project Management Board for Transportation and Agriculture Projects, to complete the construction before December 31st, 2025. The construction must ensure quality and consistency.

The Le Loi road renovation and expansion project spans 1.36 km (starting at the intersection with Cau Dat road and ending at the May To Six-Way Intersection). The project involves renovating and widening the road surface by an average of 2 meters on each side to ensure a minimum road width of 12 meters, with a minimum sidewalk width of 3 meters on each side. In some locations, the road surface on the left side is widened by an average of 5 meters, while the road surface on the right side is widened by 2 meters.
The project also involves burying the electrical and lighting systems along the route, installing electrical equipment; renovating the domestic wastewater collection system, raising existing manholes on the sidewalk, and replacing damaged manhole covers. Sidewalks are being replaced with imitation stone concrete blocks, and all curb stones are being replaced…
