Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Loi, Editor-in-Chief of the Economic & Urban Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Communication Program, said: “After 5 years of implementation, the Communication Program “Silent Contributions” has become a prestigious communication brand with a profound influence in society. From a small initiative, the program has expanded into a forum connecting the press, managers and people, together aiming for the values of humanity, fairness and sustainable development. Many stories and characters discovered through the program have become a source of inspiration, spreading the spirit of sharing, arousing faith in the good things in life.”

Along with that, from a program accompanying the departments of Hanoi City in implementing Program No. 08-CTr/TU of the City Party Committee on developing the social security system, improving the quality of life of the people, in the capital, the Program has expanded its scope of activities to other provinces and cities through organizing discussion programs; practical programs and support activities to raise legal awareness for workers, especially vulnerable groups, freelance workers, people with disabilities, and children.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, said: Ensuring social security is always considered a very important and regular task of the Party, the State and the whole society. In recent times, press and media agencies have always accompanied localities to focus on propaganda and propose many solutions to ensure social security for people, so that the quality of life is increasingly improved.

“In that common effort, I highly appreciate the “Silent Contributions” communication program. Over the past 5 years, the program has honored the important contributions of individuals and groups in caring for, treating and creating the best conditions for female workers, especially female migrant workers who have to rent houses.
Notably, through the discussion programs and dissemination of the law, the understanding of stakeholders, including female workers, employers and the community, on workers' rights in the context of the digital economy and climate change has been raised. Thereby, contributing to building a safe and sustainable community; further supporting the rights of the disadvantaged, youth, and ethnic minorities...", Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi shared.
For the Silent Contributions 2025 contest, to achieve the goal of raising awareness among people and relevant agencies on environmental protection issues, the impacts of climate change on people's lives; difficulties in production and business, economic inflation, regional and international integration, climate change, opportunities and challenges created by the digital economy... in 2025, the Organizing Committee held 2 seminars with the topics: Solutions to ensure livelihoods for workers after natural disasters, Natural disaster risk insurance for workers.

"After nearly 7 months of launching, the Organizing Committee received 581 entries (including 450 professional entries and 131 non-professional entries...). "The entries also highlight the current situation of difficulties and propose and contribute solutions to effectively support the livelihoods of vulnerable groups such as women and people with disabilities to create conditions for equal development; towards effectively utilizing achievements in science and technology, digital transformation to have a stable livelihood...", Chairman of the Board of Management of the Vietnam Social Security Project Fund Ta Viet Anh, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Communication Program, member of the Jury, emphasized.
The articles by professional authors have been more diverse in topics. The works also present the reality of difficulties and propose and contribute solutions to effectively support the livelihoods of disadvantaged groups.
After 2 rounds of finals and preliminary rounds, for the professional competition, the Jury of the "Silent Contributions" contest in 2025 selected 10 quality works that met the requirements of the contest to enter the final round to award prizes to 10 authors/groups of authors (1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 3 Third Prizes, 5 Encouragement Prizes). In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 collective prizes and certificates to 10 works that entered the final round.


For the award system for non-professional authors, the contest's jury also selected 9 outstanding works to award prizes to 9 authors/author groups (1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 2 Third Prizes, 5 Encouragement Prizes). In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 1 group actively participating in the contest and 10 prizes for works that made it to the final round. The total prize value of the "Silent Contributions" contest in 2025 is up to 240 million VND.
