Nguyen Tri Hao (born in 2013), a 7th grade student at Quang Trung Secondary School, Phu Xuyen Commune, Hanoi , grew up in extremely difficult circumstances. His mother suffered from mental illness, and his father left when she was pregnant. Since childhood, Hao has lived under the care of his elderly grandparents, who are in poor health and have many illnesses.

Her mother, Nguyen Thuy Chuyen (born 1982), has suffered from mental illness since she was a child. Sometimes she is sane, sometimes she has a seizure, and sometimes she cannot control her behavior and sometimes she hits people around her. Each time this happens, her grandparents have to take her to the hospital for treatment. Because her condition is unstable, Chuyen cannot do any work.

Grandfather Nguyen Van Luan (born in 1951) and grandmother Nguyen Thi Sinh (born in 1953) are both old and no longer able to work. The whole family lives on a small plot of land owned by their grandparents, without any fields or gardens to cultivate, only growing a few rows of vegetables behind the house to improve their meals. The expenses of four people depend on a small subsidy: 750,000 VND/month from Ms. Chuyen and 2 million VND under the category of "family of single mothers with disabilities raising children". Life in a level 4 house with a rotten tiled roof, which leaks heavily when it rains heavily, is even more difficult.

Lacking parental love since childhood, and living in a difficult life, Tri Hao became shy, quiet, always looking down with a sad look in his eyes. He confided that the happiest moments were when his mother was awake and told him stories.

Due to his circumstances, Hao only ate instant noodles every morning before going to school. His daily meals were simple, consisting of vegetables and occasionally an egg; meat and fish were luxuries, only available on New Year's Eve and death anniversaries. The old bicycle his aunt had given him was broken in many places, often forcing him to walk it in the middle of the street. Hao had wished for a new bicycle, but even though his aunt had saved for months, he still did not have enough money to buy one. His clothes were all second-hand clothes given to him by others, and sometimes he only got a new set every few years.

The artists encouraged and comforted Tri Hao, hoping he would keep his spirits up to continue studying.

Despite his poverty, Tri Hao is still obedient and studies hard. He dreams of becoming a teacher to teach children in similar circumstances. Hao also hopes to earn money to treat his mother’s illness and repay his grandparents – who have devoted their lives to raising him.

Tri Hao's situation made many people unable to contain their emotions. Looking at the boy standing crying next to him, MC Thanh Trung choked up. What made him most heartbroken was that Tri Hao was still so young but had to carry with him many inferiorities, lacking fatherly love, having a mother by his side but rarely feeling the fullness of maternal love.

“When you don’t have your father by your side, I see you are stronger because you become the support for your grandparents and mother. You may be disadvantaged compared to your friends, but you are the most wonderful and meaningful gift in your mother’s and grandparents’ lives. I believe that when you grow up, study well and become strong, you will be the pride of your family ,” Thanh Trung emotionally said.

Standing next to Tri Hao, actress Dieu Nhi continuously wiped away the boy’s tears, encouraging him to try to overcome his sadness. Tri Hao’s words “I’m afraid my grandparents will die” made Dieu Nhi burst into tears; the actress was heartbroken when witnessing the huge worries weighing down on the shoulders of a 12-year-old boy.

Actor Long Vu also continuously comforted and encouraged Tri Hao to stay positive and study hard to pursue his dream of being a solid support for his family. Before entering the challenge, Long Vu, MC Thanh Trung and Dieu Nhi contributed money to give Tri Hao a new bicycle.

In the main competition, Dieu Nhi and Long Vu worked together to help the children overcome the series of challenges. Guests sat on a stroller moving along a fixed route, then threw arrows into plastic tubes at the finish line – a challenge that required physical strength and dexterity.

Because she was too tired, Dieu Nhi humorously suggested changing the rules, asking to be the MC of the program so that Thanh Trung could support the children. Immediately, the male MC responded wittily: "Do you think everything is that easy? Have you ever changed positions with your husband in the family? For example, telling your husband to keep all the money, and you have to ask him if you want to buy anything. Have you ever done that on a whim?" Dieu Nhi replied: "Yes, I don't think that's possible even in your dreams ." After the failed "negotiation", the actress continued with Long Vu to support the children to overcome challenges.
