The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that at 4:00 p.m. on November 30, the center of storm No. 15 ( storm Koto ) was at about 14.4 degrees north latitude and 112.3 degrees east longitude, in the northwest sea area of the central East Sea. Near the center of the storm, the strongest wind was at level 9, equivalent to wind speed from 75 - 88 km/h, gusting to level 11.

Sharing with Thanh Nien , Mr. Mai Van Khiem, Director of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, said that the storm is moving north at a very slow speed. Because the storm is currently in a calm field sandwiched between two subtropical highs in the east and west. Storm No. 15 is forecast to continue to weaken and continuously change direction.

Also according to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, as of 4 p.m. tomorrow, December 1, the center of the storm is located at 14.3 degrees north latitude and 111.5 degrees east longitude, in the northwest sea area of the central East Sea, about 260 km east of the east coast of Gia Lai - Dak Lak province. The storm is moving westward at a speed of 3 km/hour.

By 4 p.m. on December 2, the center of storm No. 15 is forecast to be in the Gia Lai - Khanh Hoa sea area, about 150 km east of the eastern coast of Gia Lai - Dak Lak provinces, moving southwest at a speed of 5 km/h. It is forecasted that storm No. 15 may weaken into a tropical depression.

Due to the influence of the storm, the northwest sea area of the central East Sea has strong winds of level 7. Near the eye of the storm, strong winds of level 8 - 9, gusting to level 11. The sea is very rough, with waves 3 - 5 m high; near the eye of the storm, waves 5 - 7 m high.

The sea area from southern Quang Tri - Quang Ngai has strong northeast to north winds of level 6 - 7, gusting to level 8 - 9. Rough seas, waves 2 - 4 m high. The sea area from Gia Lai - Khanh Hoa has strong winds of level 6 - 7, gusting to level 8 - 9. Rough seas, waves 3 - 5 m high.

Weather forecast for tomorrow, December 1st, the northwest sea area in the central East Sea has strong winds of level 7, waves 3-5 m high, the area near the storm center has strong winds of level 8-9, gusts of level 11, waves 6-8 m high, very rough seas. The sea area from Da Nang - Khanh Hoa has strong winds from the north to the northwest of level 6-7, gusts of level 8-9, waves 3-5 m high, rough seas.
