At the conference, representatives of the units reported on the situation in the area and the implementation of response measures. Accordingly, the provincial Border Guard units organized forces and vehicles to coordinate with functional forces and local authorities to reinforce the areas of embankments that had been eroded; announced sea bans and warned of dangers to residents and tourists.
Organize forces to strictly maintain the sea ban order of the Provincial People's Committee, strictly maintain forces and means according to the 4 "on-the-spot" motto, ready to rescue when a situation occurs.

According to statistics, the whole province has 8,507 boats/44,071 workers. Through counting until 2:00 p.m. this afternoon, there were 7,638 boats/39,344 workers anchored at ports, 869 boats/4,727 workers operating at sea, 106 boats/911 workers fishing offshore (Con Dao, Tho Chu, Phu Quoc and the province's sea area). Watercraft anchored at ports and wharves in the province are 59 vehicles/420 crew members, 127 vehicles outside the province are anchored at ports in the province.
Concluding the Conference, Colonel Pham Xuan Do, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Provincial Border Guard Command, requested that standing units strictly maintain 24/7 duty to respond to storms, and called on ships moving and operating at sea to quickly come ashore to anchor.
At the same time, monitor and grasp the storm's developments on all means of transport, maintain communication with vessels operating at sea, and promptly notify about shelters to ensure safety. Closely and accurately manage vessels operating at sea (number, operating location, communication frequency).

The Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Border Guard Command also directed the Border Guard Stations to check the weak dykes in the area and have plans to evacuate people in case of complicated situations. On the afternoon of November 28, the units must complete a specific storm response plan, assign tasks clearly, directly inspect each area, and not be subjective or negligent in storm prevention.

“Everyone must be focused, urgent, determined, and ensure effective implementation of storm response measures, with the spirit of protecting people's lives and property above all; at the same time, ensuring absolute safety for officers and soldiers participating in storm prevention,” emphasized Colonel Pham Xuan Do, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Border Guard Command.
