The conference aims to promote the implementation of the goals of the National Program on Sustainable Production and Consumption, and at the same time create a forum connecting businesses, management agencies, experts and consumers, helping businesses share experiences, access policies, expand markets and improve competitiveness.

“As the focal point of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the field of innovation, green transformation and support for industrial enterprises, we realize that enterprises are facing many pressures: increasing input costs, increasingly strict environmental compliance requirements, pressure from green standards of the international market and rapid changes in technology,” emphasized Director Nguyen Thi Lam Giang.
Director Nguyen Thi Lam Giang shared, we see a very positive signal that Vietnamese enterprises are strongly transforming, from passive response to proactive investment, considering sustainable production and consumption as the key to improving competitiveness, expanding markets, and creating new values.

In the context of the global strong transition to green economy and circular economy, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lam Giang said that a part of enterprises, especially small and medium enterprises, still have limited awareness and resources for green transformation; Access to clean technology, environmentally friendly materials and innovative models has not been implemented synchronously; The green product ecosystem and sustainable supply chain are still fragmented, lacking connections to spread successful models.
Therefore, this conference will update green policy and technology trends, especially new requirements in the global supply chain.

First , perfecting the policy framework for sustainable production and consumption, especially in the fields of processing, manufacturing and distribution industries.
Second , strengthen programs to support green transformation businesses, including support for energy saving, technological innovation, green material development, and building sustainable industrial park/cluster models.

At the conference, delegates presented papers on: National strategy and policies to promote sustainable consumption; Green growth associated with circular economy for the period 2026 - 2030 in Hue City; Promoting digital transformation, developing smart production towards sustainable development goals; Program to support and promote smart production, digital transformation in the field of industrial production and trade.
Within the framework of the conference, there will also be an exhibition of booths displaying green, environmentally friendly products from businesses, organizations and typical models in the field of sustainable production and consumption.
