Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Radio and Television organized a special live TV program calling for resources to support students in flood-affected areas.

On the morning of November 30, at Champa Island Nha Trang Tourist Area, Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Radio and Television in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper and Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training organized a special live TV program "Going to school after the flood".

At the program, delegates listened to students and teachers share about the damage and loss after the recent floods; interacted with units and businesses to better understand the practical and timely contributions to help schools and students in flood-affected areas overcome difficulties and stabilize teaching and learning. The program aims to connect volunteers, spread the spirit of humanity and community responsibility, and contribute to encouraging and supporting students in flood-affected areas to confidently continue on their learning path. At the same time, it calls for socialized resources to support students in flood-affected areas.

On this occasion, many units, organizations, businesses, and benefactors have given support to schools and students in flood-affected areas with a total amount of about 1 billion VND, along with many items such as computers, books, etc. All of the support will be transferred by the Organizing Committee to schools and students in flood-affected areas as soon as possible.

Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee has taken from the mobilized fund to present Vinh Hiep Primary School, Ngoc Hiep Primary School, Vinh Trung Primary School (West Nha Trang ward) each with 10 computers to support teaching and learning; supported 50 million VND to Vinh Phuong 1 Kindergarten (North Nha Trang ward) to repair and overcome damage after the flood; awarded a scholarship worth 10 million VND to a student orphaned by the recent flood; awarded 50 scholarships, each worth 5 million VND to students with especially difficult circumstances in flooded areas to encourage and motivate them to go to school. Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Business Association (HUBA) awarded 460 million VND to support the repair of Vinh Hiep Kindergarten (West Nha Trang ward).

In addition to presenting gifts and scholarships, the program also announced a QR code and donation account, calling on audiences, businesses and the community to continue joining hands to support students in flood-affected areas.
