Here, Mr. Xuan grasped the situation of union members, workers and union activities in this province after merging provincial administrative units and operating two-level local government.
Mr. Xuan paid special attention to visiting and sharing the difficulties, losses and damages of union members, workers and their families affected by the recent floods.
Here, Mr. Xuan also directed the local Trade Union to continue to closely follow the locality and base, grasp the number of union members and workers affected by floods, thereby promptly encouraging them to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives to continue working and producing.
Mr. Xuan emphasized that the Trade Union organization will continue to accompany businesses and units to overcome the consequences, soon restore production and business, create jobs and stable income for workers after the storm and flood.
On this occasion, on behalf of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan donated 1 billion VND to support union members and workers in the province who suffered losses due to floods.
Receiving the support, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - on behalf of union members and workers thanked the General Confederation for their timely attention, sharing and encouragement.
Mr. Hoang also committed that the unit will deploy to the grassroots Trade Union to review, select and give support to the right subjects, ensuring that it reaches union members and workers in a timely and meaningful manner.
