Many job networking opportunities
Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Tay Nam said that as of November 15, 2025, Hanoi had created jobs for 207,493 workers (exceeding the 2025 plan by 22.77%, up 0.55% over the same period in 2024). Along with creating jobs domestically, Hanoi also always focuses on creating jobs by sending workers to work abroad under labor contracts, especially in the Korean and Japanese markets. Recently, in Hanoi, there have been nearly 8,000 workers sent to work in Korea and Japan under the EPS and IM Japan programs returning home. The program has brought good job opportunities, stable income, helping to improve the lives of workers.
After nearly 5 years of living and working in Korea and Japan, workers have improved their understanding of the local language and culture as well as their skills and professionalism in production and business activities in the host countries. However, many workers still have difficulty finding suitable jobs when returning home. Therefore, supporting domestic employment for workers after the end of their work contracts in Korea and Japan is very important.

The job fair for ESP workers and IM Japan interns returning home was attended by 54 units and businesses, with a total recruitment demand of 1,880 positions. Of which, 22 units with Korean and Japanese investment capital have a need to recruit positions with attractive income levels. Typically: Positions with high income levels from 15 million VND/month or more are 347/1,880 positions (accounting for 18.5% of the total recruitment targets); positions with income levels from 10 to 15 million VND/month are 643/1,880 positions (accounting for 34.2% of the total recruitment targets)... Along with that, the diversity of fields and professions: Production management; interpreter - translator; machine operator; IT engineer; Design engineers, information technology… help workers choose suitable jobs with their abilities, can stick with them long term, and stabilize their lives.

According to Deputy Director of Hanoi Employment Service Center Vu Quang Thanh, the job fair for ESP workers and IM Japan interns returning home was opened with the expectation that the workforce who have worked in Korea and Japan when returning home will quickly connect with businesses to find jobs in the country, meeting the recruitment and labor use requirements of businesses.
Foreign workers have many advantages.
Within the framework of the Job Fair program, the Organizing Committee awarded the contest "ESP Labor Successfully Start a Business in 2025" to 4 individuals: Mr. Vu Ngoc Tai won the First Prize; Mr. Nguyen Huu Luan won the Second Prize; Mr. Tran Duc Triem won the Encouragement Prize; Mr. Nguyen Van Manh won the "Inspiration" Prize.

Speaking at the Job Fair and Award Ceremony, Director of the Overseas Labor Center ( Ministry of Home Affairs ) Dang Huy Hong said: The Korean Employment Permit Program for Foreign Workers (EPS Program) has been implemented for more than 20 years. More than 145,000 Vietnamese workers have gone to Korea to work, bringing home large incomes to improve their family economy and contribute to their homeland. To honor successful EPS workers, the Overseas Labor Center cooperates with the HRD Office in Vietnam to organize the annual "ESP Workers Successfully Start a Business" contest. The faces honored today are not only outstanding individuals, but also "lighters" for generations of EPS workers across the country.
As a representative of one of the businesses participating in the recruitment at the Job Fair, Ms. Vu Thi Cuong, Deputy Head of Human Resources Recruitment Department of Seojin Texon Group, said: “Some of the candidates who have returned from working in Korea speak Korean quite well and having access to technology and machinery in Korea is also an advantage. From now until the end of the year, the Group's recruitment needs are 2,000 people, including 300 technical staff. We hope that from this Job Fair, we will find candidates that meet the Group's recruitment needs.”
As a worker who worked in Korea for 16 years and returned to Vietnam in 2024, Mr. Nguyen Cong Tuan ( Phu Tho province) shared: “Attending the Job Fair today, I see many job opportunities. Through research and interviews at GSP HANA Co., Ltd. by a Korean person, I found the job content quite suitable for me. The salary offered by the company is 40 million VND for the position of production manager. A high salary comes with responsibility. If I am accepted, I will try my best to meet the company's requirements."
