
On the evening of November 28, the concert Slavic Sounds - Souls of Souls took place at the Vietnam National Academy of Music. The event was organized by the Vietnam Classical Music Association, celebrating the success of the Association's founding congress (November 25).
Speaking at the program, music critic - theorist, musician Tran Le Chien, Vice President - General Secretary of the Vietnam Classical Music Association emphasized: The music night was organized with the purpose of celebrating the birth of the Vietnam Classical Music Association - a newly established social and professional organization, but carrying great aspirations and with the mission of honoring the lasting values of classical music.
The program connects generations of Vietnamese artists in the country, Vietnamese musicians living and working abroad and international artists; aiming to build cultural bridges, contributing to bringing Vietnamese music to friends around the world.
In the context of rapidly changing artistic life, the Classical Music Association not only organizes professional activities, but more importantly, gathers enthusiasm, intelligence and talent, creating a sustainable space for cooperation, a professional classical music ecosystem for the artist community; building a community of classical music lovers to promote and contribute to affirming the position of classical music in artistic life, enriching the cultural picture of the country.
Through collaborative projects with artists, orchestras, and music academies of other countries, there are opportunities to promote Vietnamese cultural identity to the world .
Musician Tran Le Chien shared that, besides professional mission, Vietnam Classical Music Association is always aware of social responsibility, sharing and accompanying the community.
Faced with the great pain and loss of life and property that the people of the Central and Central Highlands provinces are suffering due to natural disasters and floods, the Standing Committee of the Association decided to allocate all proceeds from ticket sales, along with donations and contributions from benefactors to support people affected by natural disasters, through the Relief Fund of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front .

The program features talented artists from Vietnam and internationally. Among them, there is the participation of Pianist Nguyen Viet Trung, a young Vietnamese artist who made a strong impression at the Chopin Competition in Warsaw - one of the most prestigious competitions in the world. He is praised by international experts for his subtle interpretations, rich in inner depth.
Accompanying Nguyen Viet Trung in the program is the Ulysses Quartet, an outstanding American chamber music group, famous for its precision, harmony and energetic performance.
