Hair loss not only affects appearance but also negatively impacts self-confidence and mental well-being. The causes of hair loss are diverse: from immune disorders, vitamin deficiencies, prolonged stress to insomnia.

A healthy diet plays a crucial role in overall health. A balanced and nutritious diet helps prevent many health-related problems, including hair loss.

People experiencing significant hair loss should wash their hair a maximum of three times per week using a mild shampoo specifically formulated for their hair type. Avoid washing your hair too frequently to prevent stripping away its natural oils, and avoid using hot water, as hot water can dry out and damage your hair.

Additionally, use conditioner and other hair care products to provide moisture and nutrients to the hair, and limit the use of heat and chemicals: Reduce the frequency of using chemicals such as hair dye and perms, and limit the use of heat to style your hair.

The following dietary considerations are important: Protein is the main component of hair, so people experiencing hair loss should eat protein-rich foods such as eggs, lean meat, and seafood; supplement iron and zinc from good food sources including beef, beans, green vegetables, grains, and nuts; supplement vitamins such as A, C, D, E, and B vitamins, especially Biotin (B7), which is crucial for hair health; and supplement omega-3s from salmon, mackerel, tuna, flaxseed, and walnuts.
