On the afternoon of November 29, Bich Thuy made her debut for Okayama Seagulls Club, in the match against Denso Airybees Club in the Japan Volleyball Championship (SV League).

Despite scoring 5 points and playing well in her familiar role as a striker, Bich Thuy could not help Okayama Seagulls - the second-to-last team (13th) in the SV League - rise up. They lost 0-3 to Denso in the end.

However, coach Akiyoshi still had many compliments for his rookie student. Specifically, he said after the match: "Bich Thuy only debuted today, so the coordination between her and the team's setter is not yet smooth.

It's a pity that this week, she will temporarily return home. But I believe that she will prove herself early next year (2026). After integrating into the team, Bich Thuy will definitely become our important attacking spearhead."

Not only coach Akiyoshi, many Vietnamese volleyball fans also feel sorry for Bich Thuy.

Since September, there have been many rumors about Bich Thuy moving to play football in Japan, but it was not until mid-November that all procedures for this deal were completed.

Therefore, the Vietnamese team's midfielder can only play 2 matches in Japan (including the rematch with Denso in round 16 of the SV League), then will return to Vietnam to join the national team, preparing to participate in the 33rd SEA Games.

Bich Thuy's senior Thanh Thuy will also return from Japan, after a brilliant period in the Gunma Green Wings club shirt.
