
The Ministry of Home Affairs requested localities to report on Tet bonuses before December 25.
In order to promptly grasp the implementation of salary and bonus policies in enterprises, serve state management work, and at the same time deploy solutions to contribute to stabilizing labor relations in enterprises, especially in the pre-Tet period, the Ministry of Home Affairs requests that the Departments of Home Affairs closely coordinate with the Management Boards of industrial parks, economic zones, export processing zones, the Provincial Labor Federation and relevant agencies at the provincial and communal levels to perform a number of tasks such as monitoring and grasping the production and business activities of enterprises, employment and life of workers, and the situation of labor relations in enterprises.
The Ministry of Home Affairs recommends that localities step up propaganda and dissemination of labor policies and laws, especially new regulations on employment, wages, and social insurance; innovate and strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of labor policies and laws, and strictly and promptly handle violations.
In particular, the Ministry of Home Affairs noted that localities should promote activities to support the building of harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises, including proactively implementing solutions to prevent and minimize labor disputes and strikes that may arise in the area before, during and after the New Year and Lunar New Year 2026, not allowing incidents to arise for a long time, spread, and cause insecurity, disorder and social safety.
Localities guide and support business owners and trade union organizations to coordinate, exchange, review, amend and supplement contents to suit policies, laws and practical conditions of enterprises in labor contracts, collective labor agreements, salary regulations and bonus regulations to organize implementation, ensure legal rights and legitimate interests of employees, and contribute to stabilizing production and business activities of enterprises.
The Ministry of Home Affairs also noted that localities should request local businesses to develop bonus plans based on production and business results in 2025 according to the provisions of Article 104 of the Labor Code and notify employees in the business.
The Ministry of Home Affairs requests that the Departments of Home Affairs preside over and coordinate with the Management Boards of industrial parks, economic zones, and export processing zones to survey and grasp the situation of wages, wage arrears, and labor relations in 2025; bonus plans based on production and business results in enterprises on the occasion of New Year and Lunar New Year 2026; synthesize data and send it to the Ministry of Home Affairs (via the Department of Wages and Social Insurance) before December 25, 2025.
