Arranging industrial space in a centralized, modern direction
In recent years, the province has synchronously implemented the review, adjustment and supplementation of planning for industrial zones and clusters in a concentrated and modern direction, ensuring harmonious development of population and urban areas, in accordance with the economic spatial development orientation of the province.
The province clearly identifies key industrial priority areas associated with labor resources, land funds and future expansion conditions. The planning is carried out with a long-term vision, aiming to form a system of industrial zones and clusters linked with logistics centers, border gates and international ports, creating a unified production - distribution - export network.

Industrial infrastructure system in Phuoc Dong - Boi Loi Industrial Park is invested synchronously.
To date, the province has established 47 industrial parks (IPs) with a total planned area of 14,674 hectares. Of these, 32 IPs have completed infrastructure and are operating with an average occupancy rate of about 72%; many IPs have reached 100% of their leased area, affirming the trust of the business community.
The province is continuing to complete documents and procedures for 12 new industrial parks, aiming to form 59 industrial parks with an area of 16,800 hectares by 2050; orienting the development of specialized industrial parks (high-tech, support, agricultural processing, logistics); researching the formation of ecological and smart industrial parks; investing and upgrading infrastructure connecting industrial parks, ports, border gates, and ICDs. This is a strategy to prepare space for long-term development, proactively welcoming large-scale and high-tech investment capital flows.
Along with planning, an important highlight in the industrial infrastructure development policy is that the province accompanies in implementing compensation and site clearance work so that investors have clean land to deploy infrastructure investment. The province commits to supporting steps from land counting, determining land prices, paying compensation to arranging resettlement.
Thanks to the drastic implementation of solutions and consensus of the people, since the implementation of Resolution No. 25-NQ/TU up to now, the province has paid compensation for more than 4,305 hectares of land, reaching 107.64% of the set target. This helps to significantly shorten the project implementation progress, many investors who have been approved in principle can start construction immediately, saving preparation time.
Currently, the province is clearing land and investing in infrastructure in 15 industrial parks with an area of about 5,200 hectares, thereby creating a large-scale clean land supply, meeting the needs of concentrated production projects and the requirement of connecting to the global supply chain. In addition, the province also has room for strong development thanks to its connection with 3 border economic zones with an area of over 68,500 hectares and logistics capacity connected to Long An International Port, helping businesses reduce transportation costs, increase export efficiency and expand markets.
Ready to receive investment
In addition to preparing clean land, the province requires industrial parks to complete synchronous technical infrastructure right from the start. This not only ensures conditions for secondary enterprises to start construction quickly and operate early, but also helps reduce initial investment costs and limit technical risks during operation.
The province sets clear requirements for the industrial park infrastructure: electricity, water, telecommunications, and internal traffic systems must be fully invested; centralized wastewater treatment plants must operate to standards before receiving enterprises; support services such as finance, customs, and logistics must be conveniently arranged in and around the industrial park.
The province also continues to call on businesses to develop new infrastructure in line with green and sustainable trends. New industrial park infrastructure projects are required to apply energy saving standards, centralized wastewater treatment and housing areas for workers and experts. In addition, around the infrastructure of industrial parks and clusters, it is necessary to promote the formation of modern ecological urban systems and developed commercial centers to serve the needs of the region.

In the coming time, the province will continue to thoroughly implement the motto of "accompanying - sharing - timely", ensuring that 100% of records are resolved within the prescribed time limit, maintaining the "one-stop-shop" mechanism, closely monitoring the progress of key projects to remove difficulties as soon as they arise.
