Ba Ngoi Ward is one of the areas heavily affected by the recent floods. Many roads were deeply flooded; people's assets and means of production were damaged. This is also a major transaction point of the Cam Ranh Social Policy Bank Transaction Office with 35 savings and loan groups, 1,716 borrowers, and a total outstanding debt of VND 102 billion. Immediately after the weather stabilized, the Cam Ranh Social Policy Bank Transaction Office urgently coordinated with the People's Committee of Ba Ngoi Ward and authorized organizations to complete the location, ensure safety and organize the make-up transaction session as planned, fully serving the needs of the people.
Along with the damage assessment, the Cam Ranh Social Policy Bank Transaction Office has disbursed 2 billion VND in preferential credit capital to restore production and life after the storm and flood. The capital is prioritized for households with damage in: Livestock, cultivation; small business activities are interrupted, thereby creating conditions for people to soon stabilize their lives.
