Free screening of the film "Red Rain" in An Giang province.

On November 25th, the An Giang Provincial Center for Culture and Arts issued a document to communes, wards, and special zones regarding registration for free screenings of the film "Red Rain" for the people in the province.

Following the directives of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee and the Department of Culture and Sports, the An Giang Provincial Center for Culture and Arts, in coordination with Viettel An Giang, organized a mobile film screening program to serve the people in communes, wards, and special zones throughout the province.

According to the plan, the propaganda film selected for screening this time is "Red Rain," produced by the People's Army Film Studio and directed by Dang Thai Huyen. The film has a running time of 124 minutes.

"Red Rain," inspired by the 81 days and nights of heroic fighting to defend the Quang Tri Citadel in 1972, is an epic tribute to those who sacrificed their youth for national independence, while also conveying a message of humanity, camaraderie, and the aspiration for national reconciliation.

The People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones that wish to screen films for the people in their areas should register with the Information, Propaganda and Cinema Department of the An Giang Provincial Cultural and Arts Center from the date of this announcement until the end of February 2026.
