Muong Khuong organizes a seminar on new economic models and happiness index.

On the afternoon of December 12th, the Party Committee of Muong Khuong commune, in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, organized a seminar on "New economic models, happiness index models, and criteria for providing public administrative services on digital platforms in the implementation of a two-tiered local government system."

Attendees included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Van Tung - Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Leadership Studies and Public Administration, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics ; Ms. Doan Thi Thanh Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Mr. Giang Seo Van - Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, along with leaders of departments, agencies, mass organizations, and representatives of households.

Comrade Dang Quoc Doan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Muong Khuong commune - provided information on the socio -economic development situation of the locality.

At the seminar, the commune leaders provided information on the socio-economic development results since its establishment on July 1st, based on the merger of 5 communes and towns. To date, the commune has completed and exceeded 20 out of 23 key targets; the poverty rate has decreased to 23.41%. OCOP products such as tangerines, chili sauce, Séng Cù rice, sausages, and colorful Northwest sticky rice continue to affirm their brand.

Associate Professor Dr. Trinh Van Tung - Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Leadership Studies and Public Administration, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, delivered a speech at the meeting.

Administrative reform and digital transformation efforts have yielded many outstanding results; the commune's Index 766 reached 94.04 points, ranking second out of 99 communes and wards. Happiness indicators have been widely implemented, and people are satisfied with their quality of life and social welfare policies.

Delegates expressed their opinions and proposed solutions to improve the effectiveness of implementing the models.

The seminar contributed to raising awareness, improving management capacity, promoting digital transformation, and perfecting the happiness criteria system, aiming towards building a sustainably developed Muong Khuong commune.
