Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Recruitment of Public Employees in Education and Training

On the afternoon of December 12th, the Lao Cai Provincial Council for Recruitment of Public Employees in Education and Training held the opening ceremony for the 2025 recruitment of public employees in education and training.

The recruitment process is conducted in two forms: examination and selection based on qualifications.

Specifically, for the recruitment process: Round 1 involves a general knowledge test in the form of a computer-based multiple-choice exam; Round 2 involves a written exam on specialized professional skills.

For the selection process: Round 1 involves checking eligibility based on the application form and the requirements of the job position; Round 2 involves a written professional skills test.

The 2025 recruitment period attracted 2,116 applicants.

For the 2025 recruitment period, the Lao Cai Provincial Council for the Recruitment of Public Employees in Education and Training received 2,116 applications. Of these, 509 applications were submitted through the examination method, with 505 meeting the eligibility criteria and 4 not. For the selection method, 1,607 applications were submitted; the application verification committee is currently reviewing the applications against the eligibility criteria and standards to conduct the selection process and announce the results as per regulations.

According to the plan, in 2025, the Education and Training Department of Lao Cai province will recruit 1,958 teachers. Of these, 463 will be recruited through competitive examinations and 1,495 through selection processes. Specifically, there are 260 positions for preschool teachers; 535 for primary school teachers; 872 for lower secondary school teachers; and 291 for upper secondary school teachers.

Mr. Luyen Huu Chung - Director of the Department of Education and Training, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Luyen Huu Chung - Director of the Department of Education and Training - requested that the leaders and members of the Examination Council, the Examination Board, and the service and security personnel uphold a high sense of responsibility, seriously carry out their assigned tasks, and conduct the examinations objectively, fairly, and in accordance with regulations. He also urged candidates to arrive at the examination rooms on time and strictly adhere to the examination rules and regulations.

The recruitment of public service employees in education and training in Lao Cai province took place from December 11th to 14th, conducted according to the principles of competition, openness, transparency, objectivity, and adherence to examination regulations. The goal was to select a team of teachers with strong professional knowledge, meeting the requirements of each job position, while ensuring that successful candidates meet the professional title standards as prescribed.
