URENCO Hanoi Trade Union: Providing practical care for workers.

During the 2023-2025 term, the URENCO Hanoi Trade Union made positive progress, focusing on comprehensively caring for its 2,680 members. The union closely coordinated with management to review and supplement collective labor agreements; proposed wage and welfare policies; and promptly supported workers in harsh weather conditions, overtime work for festivals, and unforeseen natural disasters.

Welfare work for union members has been implemented effectively: Visiting nearly 1,300 workers in difficult circumstances; supporting workers affected by storms and floods; awarding scholarships to children of workers who overcome difficulties and excel in their studies; organizing health check-ups for 96% of employees. Notably, URENCO Hanoi ensures an average income of 9.5 million VND/person/month, an increase of 12% compared to 2024.

The trade union also proactively proposed improvements to working conditions, such as installing mobile rest areas at collection points, increasing the provision of protective equipment, and promoting occupational safety and hygiene training. These concrete and practical actions have created morale and contributed to building a safe and humane working environment for the workers who are tirelessly maintaining the "green, clean, and beautiful" environment of the city.

Along with caring for the well-being of workers, the Trade Union focuses on launching and maintaining effective emulation movements such as: "Excellent Workers - Creative Workers", "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", and "Good People, Good Deeds". Many individuals and groups have achieved outstanding results in their professional work, notably winning high prizes at the Construction Industry Skilled Workers Competition; dozens of "Excellent Workers" and "Exemplary Families" have been recognized.

At the Congress, 137 delegates elected the 10th Executive Committee of the Company's Trade Union, consisting of 13 members. The personnel structure ensures a harmonious balance of ages and work fields, with standards emphasizing political integrity, a sense of responsibility, and prestige among union members.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi City Federation of Labor Nguyen Huy Khanh acknowledged the efforts of the URENCO Trade Union during the past term, especially its role in management and improving workers' welfare. Chairman Nguyen Huy Khanh requested that the URENCO Hanoi Trade Union continue to innovate, promote digital transformation in membership management, organize regular dialogues, focus on caring for female workers, and build a modern workforce.

Nguyen Huu Tien, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Members of URENCO Hanoi, assessed that the Trade Union has made a significant contribution to fulfilling the task of environmental sanitation in the capital city and ensuring production and business growth. Chairman Nguyen Huu Tien requested that the Trade Union, in its 10th term, continue to play a bridging role, working alongside the company's leadership to increase income, improve working conditions, and strengthen corporate culture.
