This is a meaningful sporting event aimed at promoting health, increasing interaction and connection among members of the UNESCO Travel Club, thereby effectively contributing to cooperation between tourism businesses in the development of tourism in Hanoi and the whole country.
In his opening remarks, the Chairman of the UNESCO Travel Club, Truong Quoc Hung, expressed that the "Pickleball Unesco Travel +" sports tournament is not only an activity that contributes to physical training and health improvement, but also has great significance in connecting the tourism business community. Through this healthy and modern sporting event, those working in tourism have more opportunities to meet, share, understand, and support each other, thereby building strong links between units in the industry.

“For a long time, the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club has always been interested in developing corporate culture. We not only organize activities to share business experiences and professional training courses, but also organize sports competitions such as football and pickleball to increase connection and sharing among professionals, thereby building a strong and sustainable tourism business community in Hanoi. At the “Pickleball Unesco Travel +” tournament, we emphasize the spirit of sportsmanship, solidarity, and responsibility because these are the foundations for building a strong and civilized tourism business culture. This is also an important factor contributing to improving service quality and creating a positive image of the tourism workforce in the capital city in particular and Vietnam in general,” said Mr. Truong Quoc Hung.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Tai, Director of VietSense Travel, said that this is the first time the “Pickleball Unesco Travel +” tournament has been organized, but it has attracted a large number of registered athletes. 60 athletes from various travel, transportation, and accommodation businesses participated in three categories: Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Men's Doubles. Despite being an amateur competition, the Organizing Committee strived to build a professional tournament, inviting a team of qualified and reputable referees to ensure fairness and accuracy in each match.
In the afternoon, the matches were exciting and lively, with many thrilling moments.
