By the afternoon of December 12th, preparations for the "Circle of Love" Pickleball Tournament, organized by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, were underway at the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Culture Center's Pickleball courts (55B Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Ben Thanh Ward).
Members of the organizing committee and logistics team are working diligently to complete the stage, backdrop, and competition area, ready to welcome athletes to compete from the morning of December 13th.
Following the success of the first tournament in June 2025, the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper is organizing this Pickleball competition with a humane message: "Arms of Love". The goal is to create a sporting arena and promote profound community values – helping the underprivileged and needy patients.
The organizers of the "Circle of Love" Pickleball Tournament will solicit donations from philanthropists, sponsors, participating athletes, and spectators to raise funds to support poor students, impoverished patients in emergency situations who cannot afford hospital fees, and to assist poor people, those severely affected by natural disasters, and the homeless in celebrating the upcoming Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse).
The "Circle of Love" Pickleball Tournament attracted 172 athletes across 7 categories, including a section for artists and celebrities. Categories with a high number of registered participants, such as men's doubles over 45 and mixed doubles over 45, promise exciting and dramatic competitions.
The official start time for the tournament is 8:00 AM on December 13th, at the Pickleball courts of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Culture Center (55B Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Ben Thanh Ward). Prior to that, the opening ceremony will begin at 7:30 AM, allowing the matches to proceed as scheduled.
Athletes should note that they must arrive 15 minutes before the start of their registered event to complete the check-in procedures. The organizing committee will provide water, bananas, and gifts from sponsors when athletes check in.
