200 people in difficult circumstances were given health insurance cards.

(DONG THAP) On December 12th, in Gia Thuan commune, the Social Insurance (BHXH) of Dong Thap province, in coordination with the local authorities, organized a program to donate health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances. This activity is in response to the "Donating health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances to bring a warm Tet to the poor in the Year of the Horse" program launched nationwide by Vietnam Social Insurance.

Residents of Gia Thuan commune were given health insurance cards.

This time, 200 people from households engaged in agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and salt production in the Go Cong area, managed by the local Social Insurance agency, received health insurance cards. This is out of a total of 1,665 people selected for the program throughout the province, with a total value of approximately 600 million VND. The program is supported by banks operating in the province, including BIDV, Agribank , Vietcombank, and Vietinbank.

Ms. Huynh Nguyen Phuong Oanh, Director of the Social Insurance Department of Dong Thap province, presented flowers to thank the sponsoring organizations.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Social Insurance Department of Dong Thap province, Huynh Nguyen Phuong Oanh, affirmed that caring for the health of the people is an important social security task of the province.

He expressed his hope that sponsors and commune leaders would continue to cooperate with the Social Insurance agency in donating health insurance cards as an important shield to protect people from illness and disease.

He expressed his hope that this humanitarian program would spread the spirit of mutual support and compassion, further strengthening people's trust in the social security policies of the Party and the State, aiming to achieve the goal of ensuring that all people in Dong Thap have health insurance cards.
