Dong Nai General Hospital aims to become a top-tier hospital.

(Dong Nai) - At the Dong Nai General Hospital's Science and Technology Conference 2025 on the morning of December 12th, Dr. Dang Ha Huu Phuoc, Deputy Director of the hospital, shared: 2025 marks a breakthrough in the hospital's development with four strategic pillars: pioneering advanced techniques; promoting research and training; committing to international quality standards; and enhancing community care capabilities.

According to Dr. Dang Ha Huu Phuoc, the field of cardiology is considered a highlight as the hospital has developed three departments simultaneously: Internal Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, aiming towards a complete Cardiovascular Center. Many advanced techniques have been successfully implemented, such as: open-heart surgery, endoscopic heart surgery, closure of atrial and ventricular septal defects using devices, stent graft placement, implantation of 2-chamber and 3-chamber pacemakers, and especially the His bundle pacing technique, which was previously only implemented at large centers.

Furthermore, the hospital continues to uphold international quality standards, having achieved the "Diamond" rating from the World Stroke Organization for many consecutive years; and has also been recognized as meeting ISO 15189:2022 standards in the field of laboratory testing. Scientific research activities have also seen many positive developments with over 100 basic research projects and many projects published in international journals.

The hospital also focuses on modernizing its information technology system, most notably the implementation of electronic medical records from September 2025. Community programs such as fixed blood donation centers are also effectively maintained. In particular, the kidney transplant project has been officially approved, opening up avenues for the development of organ transplant techniques in the future.

With the achievements made, Dong Nai General Hospital is gradually realizing its goal of becoming a top-tier, modern, smart, and comprehensive hospital, aiming to provide high-quality medical services to the people of the province and the region.
