The 18th year of the "Aspiration for Life" program: Joining hands, united in service.

Attending the program were Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Nham, Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television; representatives from media agencies, information sponsors, and medical sponsors; Tan Phuoc Khanh Steel Joint Stock Company as the main sponsor; and various volunteer groups and philanthropists from both within and outside the country.

The humanitarian television program "Aspiration for Life," initiated by UNIAD JSC in September 2008, has the mission of "Connecting communities and helping the poor to revive their lives."

Over its 17-year journey, the program has weathered three periods of severe upheaval: the economic crisis (2008-2009); the Covid-19 pandemic (2020-2021); and the consolidation and reorganization of provincial-level administrative units (2025). "There were times when the pressure seemed to overwhelm everything, and all resources seemed to be depleted... However, thanks to the 'united service' of our partners, sponsors, media outlets, and especially the dedication of the organizing committee, we have transformed adversity into motivation, and the weekly trips have continued," said Mr. Nguyen Duc Tien, Head of the program's organizing committee.

As of November 14, 2025, the program has provided assistance totaling over 102.7 billion VND, supporting the construction and renovation of 250 houses for impoverished families and assisting 79 cases of special medical treatment. In 2025 alone, the program provided a total of over 6.4 billion VND in assistance.

The most touching moment at the event was when many of the individuals assisted by the program broke down in tears, sharing: If it weren't for the humanitarian television program "Aspiration for Life," they might have ended their lives due to illness, misfortune, and a series of other setbacks. Today, standing here to tell their stories, they feel happy and fortunate to have been given a new lease on life and to be able to live a truly meaningful existence.

These heartfelt stories touched the hearts of all attendees, affirming that every penny, every brick, every surgery sponsored has rekindled unwavering hope for those whose lives seemed to have lost all hope.

In 2026, the "Aspiration for Life" program will continue to spread the spirit of sharing and helping those in dire circumstances across the country with the commitment "Together we hold hands, united in service." The program will maintain its reputable collaborative network: Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio & Television; Khanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio & Television; and An Giang Newspaper and Radio & Television.

The program is sponsored by Vietnam Women's Newspaper for information and medically by Cho Ray Hospital, International Neurosurgery Hospital, and Children's Hospital 1. Tan Phuoc Khanh Steel Joint Stock Company is the main sponsor.

"As long as there are still poor people, Ton Phuoc Khanh will continue to join hands with 'Aspiration for Life' to reach out to them. We will go to their homes, provide hands-on assistance, and create a strong and long-term plan," shared Mr. Do Van To, General Director of Ton Phuoc Khanh Joint Stock Company.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Nham, Provincial Party Committee member and Editor-in-Chief of Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television, shared: "Throughout the 17-year journey of the 'Aspiration for Life' program, Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television has had the honor of continuously accompanying it for 15 years. We have witnessed the effectiveness of each program and the revival of each individual who has been connected and assisted. Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television is committed to continuing to accompany it in the coming years, so that the 'Aspiration for Life' program will always be connected, spread, and expanded in the community."
