Over three consecutive working days, the medical team visited five institutions caring for children with disabilities, including: Binh Minh Special School (Dong Anh), Hy Vong Primary and Secondary School (Viet Hung), Thanh Tri School for Children with Disabilities, Phuc Tue Center (Ba Dinh), and Hy Vong Center (Kim Ma). The examination schedule was scientifically arranged, tailored to the specific characteristics of each institution and each group of students with disabilities.
The medical team comprised a strong medical force, including doctors and nurses from the Hanoi Rehabilitation Hospital, represented by Dr. Nguyen Thi Viet Ha, Deputy Director of the Hospital, along with four specialists from the Hanoi Children's Hospital and the Hanoi Eye Hospital. The examination covered a comprehensive range of topics, from measuring physical indicators to clinical examinations across multiple specialties such as internal medicine, surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, and dentistry.
As a result, the team examined and screened 393 children – exceeding the plan and achieving 100% of the set target. Cases requiring monitoring or suspected of having illnesses were referred to higher-level hospitals for timely diagnosis and treatment. Along with professional work, the team also strengthened counseling for teachers, parents, and caregivers on the procedures for monitoring, treating, and caring for children at school and at home, contributing to raising awareness and skills in supporting children with disabilities.

The 2025 periodic health check-up not only successfully achieved professional goals but also spread a profound sense of social responsibility. The activity affirms Hanoi's and organizations' concern for children with disabilities, ensuring they receive the best possible healthcare while continuing to foster values of compassion within the community.
