The event took place on December 10th, with a total of 270 people receiving assistance, including 110 households receiving 5 million VND each; 50 pregnant women, mothers with young children, or those in special circumstances receiving 1.5 million VND each; and another 110 households receiving essential goods and hygiene packages worth 1.3 million VND each.
This activity is part of a 1.8 billion VND aid package from Plan International Vietnam aimed at contributing to livelihood recovery and ensuring safety for vulnerable groups in the post-disaster period.
Ms. Pham Thu Ba, Human Resources and Organizational Development Manager of Plan International Vietnam, said that although Da Nang is not a regular project area for the organization, the close, transparent, and effective coordination from the local government has helped the program be implemented promptly and to the right target group.
Plan International Vietnam always prioritizes gender-sensitive relief methods, ensuring that women, girls, and vulnerable groups have access to appropriate, safe, and equitable support.

The program is organized through the Vietnam Post system to ensure transparency and convenience for beneficiaries. It is expected that on December 15, 2025, the project will continue to distribute support to 296 people in Thuong Duc commune.
Seamless implementation in the two hardest-hit areas contributes to strengthening the community's resilience to natural disasters, moving towards safety and sustainable development in the context of increasingly complex climate change.
