According to VAMA, in November, sales of completely built-up (CBU) imported vehicles reached 20,968 units, while sales of domestically assembled (CKD) vehicles reached 18,370 units. This marks the ninth consecutive month that VAMA members have sold more imported vehicles than domestically assembled ones, indicating a significant shift in the market's vehicle supply structure. Cumulatively for the first 11 months of 2025, VAMA members sold 173,252 imported vehicles, a 17% increase compared to the same period in 2024, and 155,417 domestically assembled vehicles, a 3% decrease compared to the same period in 2024.
Overall, the Vietnamese automotive market is entering its most vibrant period of the year. Simultaneously, imported and domestically assembled vehicles continue to compete fiercely to win customers and secure market share.
